Ocean Forest or Happy Frog?

Happy frog and Light Warrior have Mycorrizhae in them out of the bag. FFOF does not. FFOF is a little hotter than the others. I use FFOF from seed to harvest w/ great results. And yes you can veg. w/ no add'l nutes in FFOF.

I lixed for fox farm and light warrior and had great results. A little stunt for some reason at first.

I am using this mix again. I do not think I want to go with any one else. Except for rite aid. Their soil is like magic and right around the corner. I shit yu not. This is a good soil. All organic. I have had awesome results. I just repotted from an ocean forest organicare aeration mix to rite aid soil for my seedling as I know it will not burn.

I have one warning. In an fox farm and even light warrior mix if yu are going to be using Lowriders or another autflower yu might want to look out for too much N. Def do not veg feed! I did this and my autoflowers grew 4 feet and never flowered, well at week eight I pulled them. LOl.

I mix more perlite. O got 5 gallons of the stuff! onebay for like 5 $!

and another thing, dont add more dolomite! N lockout do to high ph gets me every time.

I use both soils mixed 50/50 with great results. Only problem I've ever noticed was a slight magnesium def. But I use CalMag anyways so problem solved.

I loved FFOF just like most the other guys. I added perlite to mine also and feel like it def saved me on nutes. I used the complete FF soil nutes through my whole grow but with the OF I didn't have to start using the veg nutes for a good week or two and even then I used very little. Right now I am trying Happy Frog through this whole grow and I must say it seems like a great soil as well. It's a lil more airy to me but I still added perlite to the mix and I'll have to see how this grow goes before I can really judge the happy frog.

Unkle Sam..... I've used both. I think these days, the Happy Frog would be a better choice. It's milder and well made (plus it's even a little cheaper - another bonus).
