I was at a party recently when someone brought out some home grown pot. It was very good, but had like an amonia (or chlorphyl) smell to it. When I asked why, the person said he wasn't sure because it was his first attempt at growing. He said he grew it & trimmed it & then hung the buds up to dry & hadn't attempted any special curing process other than that. He said after it had somewhat dried he put it in jars & periodically opened the lids to let air out. He said he thought it had this smell because he hadn't cured it in paper bags or anything. Is this a natural smell from not curing?
