this one the middle blade is badly deformed so it looks as if it’s missing in fact it was missing on some of the others leaves
This on is the 5star because it has 5 nodes on the top. The damage area is where I plucked a seed from her to see if they were ready.
To most this one would appear to be perfectly normal, however the veins and serrations are doubled in number, just look at how many there are. I call it saw tooth. Also Notice how the last blades point back to the main stem.
these aren’t off mutations because every plant in the group showed them in one way or another. However the particular type of mutation was unique to the cross. There are some with minor serrations that I call old man. This one shows multiple mutations such as the old man and the middle blade hiding or missing all together. Notice the stem. It’s a genetic work of art. A true breeder’s tool.
