Odor control and ducting through ONA bucket. tips/advice are welcome

im starting a grow tent in my room and odor control is a huge issue to me, i see myself using a lot of ONA in the near future.
in an effort to kill "all" odor i plan to use this setup i've deviced and route the air through the cieling and out through a roof overhang vent that is right outside my window on the second floor.

im just looking for opinions and advice from people who use or have used ONA before.

Cheers and TIA.

your going to go thru a lot of ona, should just get one of these http://www.sunlightsupply.com/p-14480-phresh-inline-filters.aspx
so redundant carbon filtration instead? is that what you mean?

what about using ONA liquid concentrate with the water pellets? alot of them,
you know to slow down evaporation. im working with a 60X48X24" tent which is gonna hold a maximum of 6 plants in DWC, the fan is only 190CFM and the flowering light is 250w 2700k CFL + 65w 6500k CFL so the exhausted air wont be too hot to evaporate the ONA in excess.

im gonna go ahead with this design and then work out a way to better control the evaporation of the ONA. il use the liquid concentrate with the water pellets and then add a layer of glass marbles on top to buffer the ONA from the current of air going through the bucket.

regarding the ONA, theres alot of potential gas trapped in a small amount of liquid or solid.
so by controlling the evaporation of the ona in the bucket i should be able to find a sweet spot where the ONA lasts and takes care of the residual smell at the same time.

First grow? The smell may not be as bad as you think. Before going all venty....get a regular five gal bucket, dump in a pack of those little water retaining beads, add a gallon or so of water to the beads (they swell up and become a semi-solid goo which lasts a LONG time--add a couple oz. of ONA. Now go down to Walmart and look for a round fan that will sit on top of yer bucket. Turn the fan on, blowing OUT....and just leave it in the growroom. The fan will suck the ONA fumes UP and out into the room....and literally neutralize the odor. Plus, the whole house smells good, LOL. People come into my house and say, "Wow, it smells so CLEAN in here!" No need for venting, at all.

Cool. If you use those water-holding beads I mentioned, your ONA wont evaporate for months. When you notice it's losing it's smell, add another oz. or two...more water if ya need it. I used the same ONA/beads/water thru many an entire bloom without adding more ONA.

actually, you want the fan blowing in, ona works by absorbing odor,, O.dor N.eutralizing A.gent.

ozone works by oxidizing and breaking down the carbon based molecules that are volatile and carry scent along with odor causing bacteria and other stuff.

activated charcoal works in much the same way but being that it is a solid and it doenst sublimate, it does actually trap odor.

its gonna smell for sure. that ona shit, is shit. invest in an inline fan. research carbon filters.
