Odor Eating Carbon Filter Light Bulbs

starting a home grow. I want to use these Odor Eater CFLs. Here is a website that sells them but im pretty sure I can get these at any home depot:

http://www.fresh2.com/

Concerns and Questions:

1) Im a bit concerned on the matter. Ive read that these bulbs are not good to use during the blooming phase because they produce hydroxyl radicals react with and negate various chemicals including alcohol, which cannabis resin is a form of. You would not want to expose a hydroxyl to your crystally buds. However Im not even sure if this is even true or not.

2) Im debating using these light bulbs in my room while growing in my closet. Thus the plant resin will never be directly exposed to or in close proximity of these light bulbs. Is this a good idea?

3) Does anyone any insights? These light bulbs at first glance seem like a great discrete solution to any grow operation.

please advise

These lights are ok for general odor in a small room but using them for any type of grow wont really work. They will help but definitely not be sufficient odor control

What about the effects of these lights on the plants? Are these supposed "hydroxyl radicals" anything to be concerned about?

please advise

if they are not right over the plants and just in the room to attempt to control odor they will not be a problem. I used fresh Ti2 bulbs for a little while. They had no effect or maybe a slight effect on the odor. They did work great for general household odor though...cat litter boxes...stale air...etc...
