might take a few of them...I would really just go with a carbon filter...either buy one or make one yourself. the problem is you will be desensitized to the smell over time ...someone entering your home/apartment will not be so even a small amount of odor can be detected. It is best to make sure there is absolutely no odor. You would be taking a little bit of a risk by using only CFL's and not having good ventilation and scrubbing th air clean.
Those things look kinda cheap....i'm trying these out. http://www.fresh2.com/light-bulbs.html They have a titanium dioxide coating that produces the ions/oxidizers in the air. Def. not the same as those china bulbs you were looking at. Time will tell if they work or not though
they did pretty well for me...i used t5's for vegging and had 2 tiO2 in the regular light fixtures in the room on 24/7...i dont use them anymore ....dont want to risk an odor so it carbon only for me...and occasional ozone gen
Skinny, hows your o3 gen work? i mean does it work well? if one were to dump all their dirty air into an attic for example, and treat that air with o3, do you think it'd kill the smell?
