Odor question... please help

I'm having an unexpected guest tomorrow and I was wondering if turning off the exhaust fan/filter for 7-8 hours will help cover up the odor with ONA. The fan won't be pushing the stinky air from the tent into the room its being exhausted in... so im hoping this will help. My question is since im close to harvest time and my tent is crowded with buds touching one another is it ok to safely shut off the exhaust system AND the oscillating fan inside the tent without running the risk of mold?

herbal up your house, with a potpourri, or herbal candles. go on about how you just love this new aroma therapy stuff. or cook chitlins and sauerkraut.......lol.

turn it all off..........plants have cloudy days. i don't think 8 hours of dark will effect them at this stage. but, yes.....filter through carbon. you can exhaust through a box with dryer fabric softener sheets, in addition. absorb and mask.

Get some Glade plugins. I don't have an exhaust system for my grow, but I think these Glade plugins are covering up any smell that I have rolling thru the crib!

if glade plug ins are covering your smell then ya shit cant stink too much coz those things are useless imo

You shoulda made a " easy to build DIY carbon filter " ( $23 ) from Home Depot.....go to the tutorial section and look at "easy to build DIY carbon filter" !!!!!

Thanks for the response; I got scented candles, incense, andONA fan/bucket setup. I did purchase a425 cfm fan/filter combo for a 5x5 1000 watt grow, however it does nothing forak47 & white widow stench. I'mthinking either the fan is pushing air through the filter too fast for it toscrub it, or it's simply a low quality carbon filter (Should of got a Phresh ora CAN filter I suppose.....) I noticePhresh filters are cheaper than CAN filters. I was also thinking about purchasing a fan speed controller for thispurpose...but was not 100 % sure it would work, and I need to fix shitfast. If I do wind up having to kick outthe money for a new filter will Phresh filters be enough to handle the aks andthe widows? I don't want to have to buya CAN filter unless I absolutely have to.

Go online and google " DIY Ona Gel Odor bucket" some genius basically took a 5 gallon bucket drilled/cut several holes around the bucket dropped a open ona gel can inside the bucket, put a box fan on top of the bucket and presto, a DIY odor bucket that really works. I have a carbon scrubber in my grow room and it's sealed but just as precaution I also use the ona gel DIY odor bucket, it really works too!

Did you buy the right can/filter combo rated for your grow space?? You have to do the math and select the right combo.

Well it was my understanding that the carbon filter that was shipped with the combo was rated spacificly for the fan that came with it. Sense my grow is only 175 cubic feet (5x5x7) should I have bought a combo rated closer to 175 instead of the 425 I purchesed?
