Odour control

Just wanting some ideas.

8" extractor is hooked up to a thermal cut out so that temps don't get too hot/cold. Issue with that is, smell builds and lingers when extractor is not on, particularly around that special time.

Would it be beneficial/safe to use an additional stand alone 5" fan/scrubber that sits in the room to scrub the dormant air until the 8" kicks in?. The 5" won't vent in or out, just scrub the dormant air.

I use scrubbers in my grow rooms. They work great. You can hardly smell weed standing right by it if you have enough CFM.
