How does that scam differ from the millions of scam emails floating around everyday? Anyone with half a brain knows your utility and credit providers cannot legally send such emails. notices like that must be sent via snail mail.
that was emailed to me from the electric company..

Big companies convince you to buy and eat crap? You can't think for yourself. You're the type of person advertizes love.

over 80 percent of all the corn and soy grown, sold and eventually eaten in the U.S. is GMO. Over 80 percent of all products in the U.S. contain corn or soy. Now, do you eat anything in this country? If you do, then Big companies don't need to convince you of anything at all. Almost 100 percent of the non-organic produce you eat has insecticides, herbicides or anti-growth hormones on them, most cannot be washed off and many enter the flesh of the fruits and vegies you purchase. Much of the waterr you get, from well, municipal supply, lake, stream, or impound - or bottle, has not been tested for the most modern chemicals.

Can you think for yourself? Do you really believe that you have a choice? well?

I believe our filler and syrups use is why Americans are so fat. It's a shame government agencies designed to provide the public with information about safe foods has continued to lie to us about it for decades.

If I see a commercial about cereal X being healthy by General Mills, I'm skeptical. When I see that USDA stamp of approval that this cereal is good for you, I'm inclined to believe it. Because you know, the FDA, USDA and EPA are there to protect us.

Instead we are finding out their word is more harmful than helpful. In the private sectors, entities like these would have been sued and no longer exist.

News flash. Corn has been a GMO for centuries. It was never the plant we have now. Most of the food we eat, we produce. Yes, I can think for myself. I do have a choice. Not sure what any of your post means, but I take it you live in the city?

People are overweight because they eat too much. I know from experience, i weigh 275 lbs. If I wanted to lose weight, I would eat less and not drink 2-3 gallons of milk a day. Not arguing that a lot of food is garbage, but we don't have to eat it. Stop buying food at the grocery store. Use produce markets and butcher shops. That shit they call meat in the grocery store makes me puke.

I think we need to distinguish between "selectively bred cultivar" and "GM organism". One has had direct ex vivo biochemical mods - gene splicing - performed. The other relied on the natural slice-o dice-o machinery of allelic selection.

Read "Good calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. You will be shocked. So much of what passes as nutritional wisdom ... isn't.

Excellent source. I overheard a nutritionist telling a patient of hers about it and read it. Changed the way I looked at food.
