OFF GRID 12V DC LED light power

Can anybody tell me if I can run my led s straight from the 12 v side of the transformer? I did a quick test they light up okay.

As I am going off grid I hope to run everything off solar panels an batteries,I dont want to use an inverter they use power by themselves.

What I need to know is there any special wiring needed or any special requirements???

I would say if you can put out the amps and watts needed they'll run.

Everyone on 120v has to get something to change the voltage.

are they 12v lights? how many lights? how long do you plan to run them? how many batteries ? you left alot of stuff out.yes you can run dc current lights from dc batteries as long as the currents match lol

You will need a constant current circuit. Another user has designed one real cheap. You will also need a capacitor circuit to maintain 36v as well. Other than those two items you will be fine. Peace
