Imagine if your aunt had balls, why I think she'd be your uncle.

The fact is, privately owned economic infrastructure only benefits the owners of it.
The Ambassador Bridge is privately owned. It benefits people who live in Windsor but work in Detroit or vice versa.

It benefits the owner sure, he's a friggen billionaire in spite of what cheezy says, but it beats the hell out of swimming across the Detroit River to get to work.

So I'd say your bumper sticker thought process is off yet again.

So those people have no choice but to use his bridge, is that what you're saying?

nope, there is a tunnel that is publicly owned but it's a longer wait. Most people choose the bridge at something like 4 to 1.

Keep flailing though you statist you, your almighty government has done some good things, but people have done way more for people than government has.

It's funny watching you try to figure out how a privately owned road that benefits many travelers and 2 different countries is doing it. It's like your mind can't even wrap around the possibility of something not being done by the central planners.

But you are totally not a statist....

when a farmer grows food, and brings it to a local market to sell it, what do you classify that action as?
wait, let me role play as a statist.

He didn't grow that!! it was water and soil that was there already and he had to take a road that would only be possible by government to get to the market.

Also, without government, his truck he drove would have been unsafe and exploded because truck makers are only concerned about profit, not safety.

These seem contradictory. Why would there be a longer wait if less people use it? Sounds like gov't is helping the private owner, like gov't always does. I clipped off the rest of your whiny diatribe, since I'm not defending gov't so much as criticizing capitalism.

Yes, government's solution (tunnel) is not as easy to navigate or efficient as the private sector solution (bridge) so the government helps the private owner. I'm with you in the criticizing of crony-capitalism.

The tunnel is much more stop and go, the bridge flows pretty smoothly most of the time. The tunnel is actually newer too. Go Government!!!

I understand why you snipped the part where I pointed out how wrong you were. Care to double down on the stupid and say it again? The only one who benefits is the owner... please stick by that.

Nice anecdote, I have never been to your shit hole of a state so you'll have to provide a citation.
What do you require? You want vehicle counts? You want interviews with people who say yes, I actually benefited from a privately owned product and I'm not the owner? Seems like common sense would rule out here and you would realize that people DO benefit other than the owner and you are talking bumper sticker nonsense again. But it's not going to happen is it. Not only that, I bet you repeat that bumper sticker again by the end of the day, because that's what you do.

lol at proving to you that you are incredibly wrong as usual doing any good. Not my first rodeo with you is it (hint, that was rhetorical)
