Yeah I dunno hey, I don't think it's still the same, I ran a 10 pack about 12 months ago and was very unimpressed. I grew out 3 f2's of the old beans and they were exactly like i remember. It is a stunning plant to grow too man, totally agree. The colours they turn are just magical and if you are lucky enough to get the pink hair pheno, you just want to eat it haha.

All I know is the DP blueberry I had in 2002 looked and grew nothing like the DP blueberry I tried in 2009, not even in the same ball park. Like I said, DJ lost his famous parent and now the True Blueberry is supposedly from the same seed stock that he found that original gem in, but I have yet to see that same blueberry since. The reason why DP had that blueberry was DJ was working with them or at least provided the seeds and DJ help them pick parents to run.

No one I smoked with would even finish smoking blunts that I would roll of that Blue. I've even had a critical jack herer that gave me just a good high as any OG.

OG is good smoke, but as I said earlier, it isn't the holy grail for me at least. If it's your go to strain more power to you. But from what I remember is the OG wasn't widely available in the 90's and if you look at seed bank catalogs from the late 90s and early 2000 there were very few if any OG crosses. That trend didn't hit until medical came to cali in mid 2000s.

Bell bottoms and disco? Umm I haven't seen someone wearing bell bottoms or listening to disco music in the last 30 years unless a Halloween party or something. (I do live in Michigan though) og is everywhere and still considered by most as the best around. Kind of a shitty comparison. Not trying to be dick at all.

And you think my og is giving me a placebo effect? That's kinda funny. I consider myself well rounded and have sampled many varieties in my day. Not an expert by any means but I would have to say, blueberry when it was a popular fad, and still to this day is a 5 or 6. if I rated my ghost a 10.

I found them to be boring. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

Big Buddha Blue Cheese . They won some cannabis cup somewhere with that combo . Anyhow Im looking forward to running a 10 pack autos of it soon to find out for myself

One of the cookie crosses in the mix i got has lemon larry. I reckon one of my girls this time is larry lemon leaning pheno, has the lemon fuely kind of smell but still has a sweetness when you rub your fingers over the resin...

Tahoe og kush.... this one actually is from swerve this is actually cali cons Tahoe... one female outta 8 plants was terrible... but all in all the one female I got was a sick ass pheno still this is only like 70% what the real Tahoe og kush is.. I herd swerves gear went to shit lately this was from the time he first released his Tahoe og years ago this is outdoor

No need to apologize. You got your thing, I've got mine.

But bell bottoms and disco trends both lasted at least a decade and you can still find both to this day. Hell old disco music still generates millions of dollars globally and bell bottoms have morphed into boot cut jeans.

OG might have been around pre 90s, but was no where near as popular as today and didn't become so popular until the mid 2000s. And as far as it being considered the best by "most" people, that's like saying Pop music is the best because "most" people like it. Again, og is good but it is all a matter of opinion when it comes to preferences.

And as I mentioned, the one ten pack of blueberry I got from DP, for whatever reason, produced three ladies with grade A+ bud that I guarantee that nobody would have rated a 5 out of ten. I know sounds like bull shit and I have no way to prove bud I grew 13 years ago, but I've smoke many different OGs during my days in California and their good, no doubt, but those three blueberry were 100% on the same level as any of those OGs, but honestly the BB tasted much better to me. The only reason the blueberry fad fizzled out was because (according to legend and forums) DJ short lost one of the parent plants that made those fire genetics and since then, you're right, blueberry is barely a 5. I know because since those ten beans in 2002, I've tried many more varieties of blueberry and no dice. So yeah that's over.

And with the current genetics of blueberry going around, I wouldn't put in my grow for shit. But at one time it was the strain that was on all the pages of magazines and it was the strain that was crossed with everything by everyone, just like what's been happening with OG.

You live in MI that is the problem with not seeing bell bottoms and disco. We get all kinds of shit in California and for a while the trend was Space Pants.... you wouldn't believe how many times I wanted to tell an ass joke lol to these ladies.

I used to feel bad bagging on swerve but if he ever balls up and enters the discussion he is always walking away like he just got out of prison lol... he makes himself look terrible.

Some others - these all reeeeek of pinesol too but generally have something else going in the nose.





I'm keeping a few to run again. The one I think is gonna be a keeper keeper for me personally is the tallest one in the pictures with the foxtailing buds. I cut a lower off it a week ago and vaped it and it fuckin wrecked me.
