My regular OG Kush stretches like a mofo in flower has tight rock buds and is a mutherfucker to clone... seems like a theme here haha. I had to reveg one of my plants just to keep the strain alive as not one of my clones lived.

Mine stretched a lot too but I'm sure thats because I veg with a T-5 and flower with a 1000W HPS. I'm real close to cutting mine down they smell like Super Sour OG when I touch my nugs you can smell the chem-fuel odor..I'm at day 70 and want to cut. I want to give them 48-72 hours of darkness.

Smoke Report.

After a 2 week cure I finally smoked the infamous Reserva Privada OG#18. I grew 3 of her from seed and she grew quite well. OG#18 grows really slow and didnt take well to nutes so if you do grow her start off slow and work your way up. I found that she like the 800-900 PPM level in late flower. Each plant produced me about a ounce and I let her flower about 78 days using GH Nutes, co2 and 1000W HPS. Shes a small yielder.

Smoke report:
Very awesome smoke and pretty smooth. She tastes more sour than OG and you get some " earthy " flavor on the exhale. After one small bowl or 1-2 hits she begins to hit you in the face and drop the eyes. OG#18 is a creeper and after 2-3 bowls she really mellows you out with a pleasant high not too over whelming but still a good pleasant high. In the jars OG#18 reeks of a chemy/fuely smell.

Difficulty to grow ( 1-10, 10 being super hard to grow ) about a 7. Shes not the easiest plant to grow.
Bag Appeal ( 1-10, 10 being LOOKS SUPER DANK) I give her a 9 she looks like OG and looks really nice.
Stoney Sensation ( 1-10, 10 being she gets you higher than a giraffe's pussy) about a 8.5 shes really good on the head and relaxes the body.

There you have it folks. I wish I could take pics but I broke my freaking camera hiking the Grand Canyon.

I love this shit. It is definitely one of my favorites.
I popped 5 of these almost a year ago and tried to clone all of them. I was fairly new to cloning and only one rooted. It happened to be my last choice for a mother but still has given me dozens of clones since then. It is more stretchy than the others but all of the first 5 tasted and smoked the same. I average 2.5 z per plant w/ 6 plants under a 400w hps.
One thing is very different with this pheno though.... it takes at least 77 days to finish. Some has gone as long as 84 days. Really, way the hell too long.
I made some S1 seeds so I hope to bring out a better pheno from seeds. Also got some OG#1 from RP going to compare. It looks like it is going to finish much earlier but not as big.

I got a killer OG18. Whats really crazy though is when I first starting growing it I was blown away with the smell and resin production, the only thing I noticed was a considerably lower yield than I was use too growing Cheese, Warlock, Mazar.....etc. Well after really learning the strain and using some skill I am getting AWESOME yields under each 600. The lower yield wasn't a problem though because seriously this is some rediculous shit. On only a 5 day dry it stinks soooooo crazy, my buddy took some to his moms house and while he was there his mom kept saying "I smell something SOUR!". It only gets better too. I can pull mine between day 63 and 65. The nugs are soooo dense its crazy and the smell and taste is OFF THE CHARTS!!!! My favorite out of any seeds I have tried. The Sour Kush aka Head band was O.K. but nothing to write home about, the OG killed it which I noticed its a cal/mag hog in veg by the way. Oh and I have never had problems cloning her AT ALL. If you think it sucks you would have hated my Sour kush. It was horrible to clone. This last cut round I had 98% success and some real roots in 8 days. I love the rapid rooters but if they are tough or rubbery DO NOT BUY...The air to water ratio gets fucked but they are much faster and have higher success than rock wool for sure. I give OG 18 five stars.

I agree dude she took forever to finish I had to be real close to 80 days before I chopped her. I also got a small yield.

What size light are you under??? You ought to get another few seeds or find someone with a cut like mine. It WILL finish in 65 days and after learning the strain and learning how to use the stretch to your advantage you can get a very very respectable yield. Trust me.....I thought mine wasn't a large yielder but after learning the strain and what it likes I am easily DOUBLING my previous harvest weights with no change in anything other than how I treat them. They are straight magical WHORES.... I also noticed that leaving them on full veg. nutes for atleast the first week of flower helps alot, with 8 week strains you may not need to do this as much but with a longer 9 week strain and especially one like mine that triples in height in the first 3 weeks flowering, it needs alot of nitrogen when all that growth takes off. It also seems to be a strain that ANY nute problems WILL hurt your yield. When you veg them to a dark green and then move to flower the results are phenominal. I do 16 under each 600 and I do around a 2 1/2 week veg. But alot of this veg is repotting and planting deeper to give a better growth profile. by the time it hits the last pot its probably only equivilent to a 1 1/2 week veg. 1st week is souly focused at roots usually also. You need to find a quicker one or get a bigger light. If you are using a 600 or better for flowering look for a different cut. I am telling you, you would be so happy with the one I have especially if you have to go 80 days as is....

I flower with a 1000W HPS and use Co2. I think I had a bad batch of seeds though because I germinated all 5 via the paper towel method and only 3 popped. After 7 days I just threw away the other two. I would like to order more OG 18 seeds just attitude is always sold out of them. I did find a dispensary that sold OG 18 clones.. If you know where to get Reserva Privada OG 18 seeds from let me know.. Thanks.

I didn't have any herm issues with the OG 18 but I did have some with the Headband (RP Sour Kush) because of heat stress. Other than that though, the RP plants are usually some of the most healthy in the garden with little effort.

MAn you all sure lean towards the #18. im gonna get a pick n mix for the halloween special cuz ive been waiting to get pineapple express fems anyways,,, to top it off they have two awesome ufo freebies. the bubba kush33(pre 98) and aroma both from ch9. and ive been wanting both... i cant believe the deal. im a hard true nirvana fan, but this is too good to pass up.

BUT anyways... you all really prefer the 18?? i was leaning towards the OG just cuz of the shorter flower and less stretch... but i have a lot of sweet tasting strains, id rather have something different, and potency is a huge issue. so is the normal OG sweet? or just not quite as sour as the 18? and it sounds like the 18 is more potent?

ITS SO GOOD I DNT THINK I WILL BE GROWING IT FROM SEED FOREVER(well lets keep it real we all know eventually DNA will fuck up a batch especialy the way ther makin em,, but till then,,,,Plus ther good for givin like 2 -3 seeds per plant on a bottom branch like every time(also Ive grown them and always fem of cours and they grow up n finished product as good as actual breeder seed) No shit (just never grow beans that came from a true herm) I got about 3000 from a bunch crap dutchpassion blueberry Im gonna plant all over the place as a joke(gas station flower pots shit like that) Im just gonna plant em see what happens............

I actually prefer the LA Confidential to the OG 18 now. The 18 is potent but like you say it is sour too. The LA Confidential has a great taste and the high isn't sedating unless you over indulge. The high however is medicating!! The bad part about the LA is how slow it grows. You are looking at 2 months veg minimum for a decent yield. And it will still be low unless you scrog or something. The 18 yields great too so that's something to think about. The Kandy Kush is good too. All three of those are good to me.

yea that LA Con is hard to beat. I crossed it with an MK Ultra to pick up the veg speed, and it worked! Now I'm trying to stableize that pheno.
I've never grown the OG 18 or DNAs OG, but I just ordered both fem versions(I'm not a fen fan) cause that's all they have. i'm gonna run the packs side by side and seee what happens. I'll do a grow thread on em' when I do, it'll be this winter. Great review CFF, I remember you from MR. so, smellslikeskunk watch for the thread later.

funny u say that bro.... i was gonna get cataract kush.... la con x og. but i decided id rather have 2 things i want instead of one, that grows slow too. so i ended up ordering bubba 76 , ghs exodus cheese, and pineapple express. ill be back again to order the 18 someday soon. id just rather wait till i can really afford it.

i grew mk ultra for a while, it sure is a fast vegging plant. i can see that working for you. that thing stretched so bad... i had to give them away cuz they were just too hard to keep small. plus i feel that i have better strains now tho(nirvana's chrystal for example so, so good!)... that mk will hermie VERY easy and im not just talking from my exp. ive seen experienced care-givers throw out whole rooms full of mk ultra because of the hermies. it is an awesome flavor tho!

I'm growing out a pack of OGK18s myself right now to find a mom; did you notice a variety of phenotypes? Mine all look quite similar, so I'll probably keep the one with the tightest internodal spacing, assuming potency is similar. They all look like about a 70/30 sativa dom as far as the leaves, but I notice you report a heavy indica stone . . . interesting.

I'm also flowering a single Super Lemon Haze right now it looks like that's your favorite; right up there for me too. I just started a journal and you can see the link right below in my signature :bigjoint:
