I wasn't a big believer in autos myself before I got into them. When I ran hydro facility back in the mid 90's, autos were terrible. I wouldn't touch them with a 10ft pole. But boy have things changed. I think you have to be careful with the autos you get, and who the breeder is. Seeds now a days are so cheap, and people usually go the cheap route. This isn't to say you can't get some good plants from cheap seeds, but the saying is true, " you get what you pay for ". Mephisto, Night Owl, Dark horse, ETHOS, Exotic, HSC just to name a few have really good autos you should look into. My wife said she can't tell the difference from an auto or a photo, and she smokes like a train. I can't be bias to my own work because I no longer consume. But yea I've looked into that RSO, that's why I try to stick to indicas.

Everyone I know is on this high horse of "autos are straight trash" yet they've been raving about my autos for two years..I just forego the "auto" at the end of the name and they have no issues drooling over the plants every time they are here and carrying on about how good the smoke is. It's hilarious to watch them sit there for hours raving on about how shit autos are as they are forming over their money for auto bud for close to 2 years...It's all a superiority complex that makes them feel special. It has nothing to do with the actual weed, and I've proven that hundreds of times.

Yet they reckon they can pick an auto every time. I've seen photos at 15% and autos at 23%. It's more grower and environment related anyway when it comes to potency and yield..

I grew photos outside for years and switched to autos indoors as I stagger a lot of grows...I'll plant one, wait till it flowers and then plant another two. When they flower I'll pop another one or two.

I don’t grow them for the reason stated above back then they were trash. now they’re way better definitely totally agree. I’ve smoked auto flower but I really just never got into them I like to be able to hunt and trade Phenos lol Im old school

I couldn't agree with you more. I think it has alot to do with the fact that I don't smoke, so I didn't have anything to lose by letting my wife see for herself. She enjoys either one. But I strongly believe environmental factors play a major role, whether it be auto or photo. Autos just seem a bit more sensitive to things photos take like a champ.

That's funny, that's exactly what I do with with my buddies, and is the reason I don't have room to grow my autos now, :wall: . I just can turn down quality clones, especially when they pay top dollar for the beans and give me clones for free. But after this photo run, it'll be all autos to build my stock back up quickly, then it's back to pheno hunting.
