OG KUSh .. please help

I have a quick question as to weather or not i should top my leeroy kush ...

I currently am running 3k watt hps lights, i use soil and AN nutes sparingly .. i like to keep everything neat so the scrog method is usuialy how i run it..

Its getting about that time, i figured out male from female and now i would like to start topping the females so i can put them in the screen and start flower.

I have read that kush strains are not always the best yeilders, idk if thats true or not ive had, for example i had a quantom kush that killed it, eaither way in your opinion do you think its better to top and train a kush strain or just let it be ?

If your scroggin, than top it and train it!? No matter what strain your running you can force a plant to do your will. It just comes down to what you want most, speedy finish, large amount, ect..
Experiment with the strain, nutes wise, train wise, learn what that plant will do for you by trying different things.

To get any type of yield you must top og. She stretches so early in veg, get as many tops as you can, then when she hit flower, those tops take off shooting towards the light sometimes as much as 3xs stretch.

FYI - a sog style grow would be better suited for an og. Pack as many clones as you can in your space. Short veg time, maybe two weeks tops, you top a few times, then shave the legs so only one or two nodes are showing, bend the tall shoots over to keep a uniformed canopy.

Good to know, i know i didnt want to cause any stress to the seeds so id get a better male to female ratio, now that the sex has been determaned ill probably do a pheno search and do exactly like u said clone the winner as much as i can and pack em in vs growing the fuck outa one and flippn it

I wasnt sure if it was a good strain to top or not, i know some respond better to not topping i just wasnt sure about kush
