OG Reunion...

I assume that some of the old OverGrow crew ended up here after it died so I thought I'd see who.

I only remember a couple of people (I'm getting old ) from back then; BOG who I'm sure a lot of people remember for his seeds and "booboy" from Florida who usually signed off with "peace from the swamp."

I don't know who else is here, from there, or if BOG and booboy even hang out here (new names?) but it's worth a try.

Hello, you probably don't remember me (had a different name as well) but I learned soo much from there. A couple days before the servers got confinscated, I was supposed to get Lifesaver clones from a member but it was too late

I'm sure a lot of people changed names after, including me. Don't feel bad if I don't remember many names, it could be Alzheimers...

Yeah, if we would have had a warning I would have made other contacts with some of the OG'ers. That place sure was fun, I learned a lot there too.

I know most of them went to ICmag but I never bothered.

...funny this thread comes up. I was just wondering the other day if there was a contingency board in the case of riu getting, well, you know There are people here that I enjoy communicating with, but I don't have / really want an eMail address out there.

Where are riu's servers located?

Don't forget about us lurkers. So may of us lurked on Overgrow for years, learning quietly. As much as we would like to be part of the community, some of us just were not in a position to stick our heads above water. Hell, this is the first MJ related forum I have actually posted on. I was pretty bummed the day I went online and OG and Heavens Stairway were gone. (I had gotten quite a few beans from HS)

I'd suggest PM'ing friends and making alternative forum meet-ups incase something were to happen but I doubt it would go down like OG did, that was drama...

No doubt, lurkers count they're just never recognized.

Yeah, I was an old member of OG, but that was before i started growing. I was more of a lurker till the end. Soon after I joined was when the aite was shut down. I wonder if anyone has a screenshot of the old ALT website warning members not to log on to any site claiming to be OG and that the servers were confiscated and all that. Truthfully though, a lot more people ended up at Icmag friend. I think they're even 'officially' calling themselves the OG refugees. I know they saved a bunch of the old thread from the server and reposted some of them.
