Oh baby come back!

So my little baby was doing really good, until I noticed a slight change in the color between the veins of my lower fan leaves. It switched to a lighter green, and then a couple days later, progressed to yellow...

I also notice that the set of fan leaves like just above is also starting to lose color between the veins.

So it leaves me to wonder, is it a N deficiency? The symptoms really make it look that way, but since im feeding her 20-20-20 i mean, there shouldnt be any problems with the N. BUT it could be Ph problems, it is still unlikely since I just added some dolomite lime to my soil before i transplanted baby.

What is your opinion on this guys?

Can you verify pH? The white/brown tips are nute burn. Is this on only one leaf?

is that first picture is the same plant? if it is then you are fine, that is a nice green color probably not N deficiency. It is normal for some of the early lower growth to yellow and die, i would be pruning lower leaves at this point. IMO looks like a healthy weed plant if its just a few leaves that are yellow like this, just prune them.

Nah its nute burn : ( tried boosting baby a bit to see if it would "cure" the N def. but no.

Well it looks healthy imo, but it looks like its progressing , i mean if it only was two bottom leaves ok, but now its 4 and will it be 6 tomorrow??

First off...If the very tips of your leaves show yellow or brown......It does NOT mean nute burn...It means your DAMN close...Most synthetic nutrition YOU BUY at the local grow shop will "push" your plant to do that.....It tells me and other long time growers that the plant is at the edge of to much........If it begins to run up the leaf,,,,,now you have nute "burn"!

N def is the most given answer to the exact problem you have.....You found out on your own that it's not the answer.
The NPK balance on 20-20-20 is WAY out of line for Cannabis! So you now have P tox.
Dyna-gro GROW at 7-9-5 is much better! (The P is a little high for me,,but it will run your plant start to finish with out any need for a high P bloom food!
Dyna-gro FOLIAGE-PRO at 9-3-6 I like even better. You may want to supplement with a small "spike" of P at week 4 and again at week 6. (strain dependent).
These selections are given for their ease of use and the success they achieve for your goals! I run mostly organic water only soil's.

High P counts are for blooming and not to much for Cannabis either. Your 20-20-20 Peters is way to high in P....and K, and....well you get the picture.

N is a mobile nutrient, which means, that if the plant can't find it in the soil, it will start pulling it out of older fan leaves (sinks) or tissue otherwise. If your lower fan leaves are turning yellow it is a result of your plant using the N that was there for other parts of growth. To fix, add more N fertilizer. I asked about pH because nutrients will become locked out with respective pH levels. Since you're already adding a general purpose fertilizer I have to jump to a pH issue as there should be sufficient N already in the soil. Excessive spraying can also flush nitrogen out of the plant tissue. Good luck

Nute burn is nute burn doesn't matter if you're "this close" or "that close." It would be more accurate to say instead that it is, "minor nute burn." The tissue is clearly damaged hence the term "burned." White tips fall more in line with what you're saying though. It's not good form to enter a thread by immediately saying someone else is wrong based on a subjective observation. Uranium - I'll agree with Mr. Who that you may do well by bringing your Npk ratio down to a 2-1-1 or similar. This still doesn't explain the red petioles unless you're experiencing lockout - salt, pH, antagonism or otherwise. What strain are you using may I ask?

Ill buy some new fert. as soon as i can, meanwhile ill go back to my 6-6-6 to prevent P and K tox.

Also, for my PH i bought a ph meter but its completely fucked. It didnt come with ph solutions and shit so now im stuck with an unusable ph meter : (
Gonna buy strips, i dont wanna lose more money on that stuff....

Burn, burnt, burning......You call it what you want.......When it is effecting only the first 1/16th of an inch....To me,,,,,It's an indicator....He has YET to "burn" his plant...(unless you want to call the P tox a "burn")

N def has abso fucking lutley NOTHING to do with the problem here......You can pour N on it till it does "burn" and the yellowing leaves , from the bottom up. Will not stop!

It IS P tox! Period.....100%.....The NPK ratio SCREAMS it at me!


I sure don't see any pH problems......if you pH the run off,,,all you get is the pH of the run off. NOT the pH of the soil.
Soil self pH's.....If the soil is quality. You don't dump loads of salts on it and you use a "zyme" product or a simple bio tea (AACT)......You can ignore the pH of the soil.......I have for years and years (decades and decades fit better).

Are you using the 20-20-20 at full strength? If you bring it down to 25% of the dosage you're at 5-5-5. Phosphorous toxicity does not antagonize Nitrogen it could however be causing a lockout of Iron.

Yeah was using it full strength always did with the couple grows i had. Never got problesms cause of it. Im probably lucky as hell : D But ill fix this now
