Oh No!! Hermie??? Please help

Ok, i am a first time grower and i have a pretty nice setup. I got 4 23w CFL and my plant is 28 inches tall and very skinny. I think its skinny because of the strain(i had the lights 3 inches form plant at all times). I am 11 days into flowering and i was psyched to see what looked to be the first bud. But i think i also see some balls on the plant. Can any one tell me if it is a hermie? i would be very mad if it was. Can any one see if thats a bud? Ill put pictures of the "balls" in question later...

try taking some better pictures i cant really tell looking at those. but hermie plants are pretty rare. so unless you have them on a really funky lighting schedual i think your good.

rare my arse. if you have a hermie kill it, it will send all you other plants hermie after 3 weeks 12/12. if you like smoking seeds. then grow it. throw it away, were you using fem seeds?.

and how many plants are you growing?

THats not a hermie that is 100% male man. That sucks...kill it and start some new ones. :peace:

Wow guys thanks for the rapid response, i expected to wait at least a day to look for some replies. That sucks that it is hermie or male. Right now the plant is just about two weeks into flowering. I have two other plants but they are really young, just sprouted. I didn't have enough room to grow them at the same time.

Looks like a male to me.
Not to be cruel but 4 cfls is not a good setup and imo you must always make sure to provide plenty of blue light and soil that is rich in nitrogen for at least the first 4 weeks or they have a higher rate of turning out male or hermie:blsmoke:

Thanks man its not cruel, i appreciate the honesty, ill go get more lights. How can i increase the blue light spectrum?

crazy-mental is correct. A plant does not need any reason to change to a hermie. It is common for plants to try and extend there strain by forming male parts later in flowering. i believe its pg 170 in the canabis grow bible. BUT- soil, lighting schedule, and many other factors can persuade a female to go hermie. Take care of your plants, treat them well,, and raise them good. you will be very happy.

just get some of the cool daylight cfls their more of the blue spectrum. they are in the same aisle as the 23w cfls you have now. If you can get the 42w cfl's they give u a couple more lumens. I got 4 23w cfl's right now and when i flower i will add a 42w cfl. But i have 5 sprouts right now i'm hoping to get one or two females out of the lot. good luck

I use a 400 watt dual spectrum hps and 2 cool blue t8 fluro tubes.
Have the hps about 36" minimum away from the seedlings with a fan blowing the hot air away from the seedbox.
No hps at all for the first 5 days.
Fluro tubes either side of the seedlings for more enhanced blue light.
For the best results use mh bulbs for vegging and dual or switchable spectrum hps bulbs for flowering,fluros are the cheap option:blsmoke:

Yeah its a male. I killed it today,big ceremony, scattered ashes across the field. Ok just kidding about that but i did kill it. Thanks every one for your help and insight.
