Here's my dilemma . So I just started my next run and I have my seedlings (2days old) in 18 oz party cups with a fox farm ocean forest /light warrior mix. I had this soil left over from my last run which I did have a gnat issue with. Now I've already seen 1 white fly and 1 spider mite. And 1 of my leaves have already been munched on. Now lIke I said, these babies are only 2 days old but is there Any way to rid these critters @ such an early stage? I've heard neem oil for the mites and fly traps for the flies but wasn't too sure about the neems at this stage. I just put my Venus fly trap in there and she's already caught something.. I'd appreciate any help.

ide bag the soil and go grab some pro mix until you get some more of what you had i honestly wouldn't want to fight them this early transplant and clean should be pritty easy because they havn't really rooted

neem is never harmful to plants. i've sprayed it on seedlings, they were fine with it.

at two days ...unless they are rare or costly seeds I would trash the soil , plants , and cups . Get some fresh soil and start over with only about a week setback .

again i have found when you start with pests you never get them gone. You can get control but i have never seen
them wiped out of your room.

i crack a smile when someone says i used a bomb and those bugs are history....... Then days later they are back..............................

For mites i used floromite SC and controled them, however with a 6 moth shut down i got rid of them and have yet to return.

Once gone you have to be anal with making sure your not infested.

When you grow non stop so does the pest cycle.

Healthy plants have little to no pest problems, The mite is natures way of killing weeds and plants in poor health.
