No, this is the weekend for my kids to visit. Besides money sucks, I can't afford to call off work. Even though Sat would be overtime.:-(

It got down to 43 here in the creek bottom. The sumac and dogwood are starting to turn.

supposed to hit 45 tonight. Guess it's 90 one day and 45 the next. Great

I've noticed some trees changing over the last week as well. Lots of maples starting go red. Thats part of the reason I love fall in Ohio.

I heard a joke one time, you know your in OH when, you need your heater in the morning and the AC in the afternoon.

At this rate the first frost isn't far away unfortunately...

yeah im thinking with the way the weather is..about 3rd week in september and it'll be the harvest for me..where's everybodys pics at?

When they showed the weather map yesterday there was a 20 deg difference between here and there.

It has it's benefits. On Saturday's I work alone and make about $27 a hour:hump:. The Halloween parties are great. This year my mom is going to be the host, thats all right the older hippies always have the best herb!

I'll share a pic. Here we have my first harvest. I'm officially done with my first grow. Just over 10oz of pure joy!! Also my bong and grinder, plus the joint that put me to sleep the other night!:eyesmoke:

hey cph..how many plants did u harvest to get that?..and how long did u cure the buds before it got that nice dry and musty smell

3.5 plants, one of them lost the main cola to mold. Each set of jars was a different plant. About 2oz each for 2 of them, and 3.25 oz from one 3.5oz from the other. They just went into the jars a few days ago, I've been told it takes at least 10 days for a good cure. They smell better everyday.:weed:

20 degree difference only a couple hours away from each other thats crazy man
 
i live in Ohio. i've grown in the past, but i can't grow for one year due to my housing situation.

well 10 months anyway.

can't smoke either.

hey CPH, hate to ask 'cause it looks like I'm lazy - and I am. I looked at ur journal but that is one long thread.

you started out with a lot of plants in soil and i noticed you had 400 watt HID. it also looks like the grow took 3-months maybe?

i was wondering what happened to all babies and just like a real quick summary of the grow so we don't have to look thru that long thread.

i'm a newbie grower, but that looks like a real nice job. good yield. and i think i read this was your first grow. really impressive!:clap:
