Oil leaking from budds!

I was making edibles from some 2022 Super Limon Haze grow and found where oil was leaking from the budd. You can get an idea of how oilly the budds were from the jar but about half them were stuck together with sticky oil.

It made some killer oatmeal cookies.

Unfortunately, it’s most likely xylem sap, not a cannabinoid containing oil. Here’s a link explaining it a bit better. First time I had buds that had the sticky oil seeping out from, I was stoked and thought the same as you. Doesn’t mean the buds can’t still be great, but sadly, it’s not a beneficial quality.

I guess it was xylem sap, but it seems strange that it would leak that much from dried and cured bud.
