I'm starting this a lil late, but better late than never! I had a pepper plant in a pot, but with it being winter, i pulled it up, root and all, and figured if it was good enough for peppers, it was good enough for mj. I started by planting 3 ungerminated seeds into the soil 3/4 of an inch down. 3 days later, BAM! i have 3 beautiful sprouts. now, they had started stretching for a while, but after putting two 100 watt cfl's beside it, they have stabilized.:hump:

Hey there don't know a whole lot about it yet but if you had a pepper growing in there for a while then it probably used up most of the nutes that came in the soil... so you should read up here on the forum about that and get something in there... I haven't used any yet but we're going to stick with organics at first, maybe guano or something from fox farm. Oh and put up some pics! People like pictures, they can see your setup better and give better advice.

i appreciate the advice. i had just put some miracle grow in the soil about a week before it died, so i think it may be okay. what do you recommend this early as far as nutes go?
