Ok 600w it is. Now the Tent??

ok so ive decided to go with a 600w hps mh kit from apollo after deciding between that and the 400w.

now i need a tent!!
most reasonable but small size possible. maybe around 4x2x5 2x2x6 3x3x5/6 ... idk, anything lol.

at min. go with 3x3x7 for that 600. Be thinking about a good extraction fan to remove the heat. Good luck

6.5 ... 7 ...whatever they are. You will probably need a cool tube too.

I have an apollo 4x4 it works great, u can find them on amazon for around $120.

i got a 4x4x6 tent from $80 from ebay, I have 2-600s and 6" fan pulling hard

just got the 4 x 8 not bad for the price zippers leak a little light have 2 600's running in it

Cooltubes flatten out the footprint to make an oblong rather than a square so remember this. Even an open fixture still puts off a rectangular footprint just not as severe.

With that light in mind you want to be lighting no more than 15ish square foot. 12 square foot would be sweet but I like a 600 in an 8 square foot space. Very dense nugs.

I'm not a tent guy though so I can't reccomend a brand but can reccomend the space. Hope this helps.

Only advice i have is. Dont skimp on a tent, theres some shonkys out there

Yea mine had light leaks around the zippers too, which seems pretty common even with more expensive tents. Next run im just gonna use a room or build an insulated box with plywood.

Too small IMO. 600 watt is about a 3x3 footprint. Plus you will run out of height quickly. Someone should make at least a 68" model.
