Ok, give me the bad news

Noticed a few small pods on the underside of my scrog tonight.. snipped one off and cut it open, it had a super tiny seed in it.. my understanding that plants may have these pods be it Male or female, but the only way for a seed to develop is thru pollination?

I have seen no signs of nanners (first grow, spent alot of time with my "girls")

Is my grow screwed? What's my move?

Halfway thru week 7 (since 12/12) .. Fem seeds. The plant in question is a Mango Kush. I see no signs of seeds on my other 2 plants, also fem seeds, Blue Haze

The first picture is a small under developed bud from below the canapy

Looks fine to me. Even non-pollinated plants can end up with a small amount of seeds...which are useless. If you see a bundle of of them, that looks like a bunch of coconuts, then it's either a male, or a Hermie (hermaphrodite), which you'll want to pull from your grow.

Correct, you cannot get a seed without pollination but stress (or shit genetics in this case) can cause pollen. Thats what happened. your too far into it to turn back now....your girls will be fine....maybe a few seeds , quality will still be good.

Let’s see the tiny seed. It may be an ovule and not a seed. I’ve been encountering these also. In my case they’re enlarged ovules and not seeds.

I'm sure there are PLENTY of folks on here that know where the stable genetics are? I , do not. All the seeds i ever ordered were garbage. (nirvana, dna genetics, sweet seeds, don't recall all of them) I get good genetics from locals.

The greenhouse boys were running around the world sucking up all the landrace species a few years back.... im assuming they are producing at least stable shit.

Please read your own postings back - sweet dna and nirvana do unstable genetics....?

You do realise peeps complete hundreds of grows of exactly the same genetics here regular zero issue just high grade weed.

At some point growers need to realise who the problem is - big seed banks and marijuan or their own stupid efforts to grow in denial.

Hmmmm no love for thisweed but i bet you love money power and being one of us..... :-(

No one craweled up anywhere, i support this herb and felt it right to place my support here where some decent folk are taking a right bashing from you.....

You might as well let the plant finish. Or you can scrap the time you've spent growing it and rip it out. It's your plant to do with as you please. But I recommend letting it finish.

I've grown multiple strains from Nirvana and all turned out really good. I just did a grow of some of their Hawaii Maui Waui. It might not be 100% authentic but the weed is great and the grow was easy. The only seeds I got were on purpose from crossing one with a Thai and making feminized seeds with pollen from a reversed female. I wouldn't hesitate to grow Nirvana genetics again in the future. Also I don't see how all the seeds you've ordered have been garbage. There are thousands of people growing the same genetics you say are garbage and having very successful grows.

Thanks for the replies. They are sleeping right now, but if I get a find a pod this evening when they wake I will try to get a "seed" pic. I did a thurough exam last night and I decided it not a big deal.

I decided I wont be growing the Mango Kush anymore anyway. Good vegger, buds are thick and frosty but it didnt stretch at flip.. like, at all. I have limited space and scrog with a few varieties is my best bet. It would make a thick sea of green, but that's not my thing

In my current grow (Super Silver Haze), I really had to keep an eye on them because the swollen ovules look so much like the starts of pollen sacks. However, when I stressed one too much, and turned her into a Hermie, I could definitely see the difference. It really took a side by side comparison to be sure of the difference. Thankfully I was able to pull it without pollinating the other three.

Definitely! Through decades of robust selective breeding, cross-pollination, and all the modern nutrients, many of the strains these days are resistant to all sorts of things, and can be stressed quite a bit without flipping. Not to mention how potent and high yielding current strains are.

if you go to my 10 year old post , you can read all about my ice from nirvana and several others. BUT instead you guys jumped me like lil girls , assuming stuff i never said.

I wouldn't keep chopping up your plant. Just take/post pics, and keep an eye on it. You will know when you see a male or Hermie. You're going to see bunches of sacks grouped together. If you do start seeing these bunches, don't freak, just carefully remove it.
