so heres the situation, im doing a soil grow with fox farm ocean forest with clones... 2 headband, 2 lemon kush, 2 white russian and 1 gran daddy purple. im using ro water on 600w high pressure sodium lamp and the room temp is 83 on ave and rh is 33. they are in week 4 of veg and i just moved them to 14" form the light, used to be 22" away. i use a 600w hps for flowering, maybe i should switch bulbs but keep the time schedule the same???

so refer to the pics, but my plants are turning yellow. i just feed them last night with big bloom and a couple of them are not as yellow today. i dont know if they are just asking for nutes or its new growth or do i have a N difisency.... the last pic is of the second batch which is a week younger and is all bubba kush. they are dark green leaves but the top insides are starting to turn yellow, very slighlty... i think its new growth but i just wanted to get some opionions on my situation.

let me know what you all think, i greatly appreciate it.

:peace:

Are you ph-ing that RO water?

That plant on the end - the dark green says over fed. Phosphorus OD. I think it'll be fine, just ease up a bit on him.

go to any section and click on it.. ie indoor growing. once your in there, look at the top left, just below the tool bar and look for "new thread".. try that out.

as far as my post, my overall opionion was that they are wanting nutes. so im following the foxfarm feeding schedule and they wont get fed until sunday. tonight i water them and i will test my water ph.

Yes you can by epson salt at the grocery store or any drug store... if you want to try to add a tablespoon in a gallon your next watering it could not hurt your plant and who knows it may fix if what u have are early stages of mag deficiency... im not sure if that your problem or not but you wont harm your plants by trying it out.. just 1 time is all you need to do.

Lemon juice (acid) will take you down, baking powder (base) will take you up.
cool to know if i ever run out....
how much of which will raise/lower it by .5?
or how do i measure, how much to add for each point of ph, I would like to adjust would be the proper way of saying it

i think you got what im saying right?

Not much. I use a 2 gallon watering can and to raise up the ph 1.0 is just a big pinch of baking soda. To go down 0.5 is maybe 5 drops of concentrated lemon juice that they sell at the grocery store.

I just add and recheck and add and recheck, but if you are using paper strips or something that would get you close.
