Ok I tried the sticky traps and killed thousands of gnats, waste of money!

Just buy the smallest amount of Mosquito Bits or borrow a half cup from a fellow grower that's ALL you need:cool: I read a bunch Google stuff on gnats & stories from growers. Don't sprinkle them on your soil, put half of cup of them in a sock or ziplock bag but punch a bunch of holes in it . dedicate a 1 gallon water can for this add the sock to 1gal. of ph'd water, after a half hour it's ready to use (if your plants are ready for water! don't overwater !!) keep a gallon of water in the can with the same Bitsthey can be used over& over for SIX months! save your $$$.they can be used with every watering till they are gone then every other week as a maintenance:weed::peace:

Yes the mosquito bits work well for gnats. The adults are just an annoyance, but the larvae damage the roots. The BT in the bits kills the larvae. Sticky traps help to know when gnats are starting to show up.
