Im desperately looking for a way to reduce humidity. Lights off it gets high as 62% humidity and during the lights on cycle i get it down to say 50% even.
I think im fine during the day its more the dark cycle thats gonna kill me as i can't vent out during lights out. intake only. Its the way my setup is designed but unfortunately I can't alter that.
Im 2-3 weeks in flower and need to nip this in the bud (yes "imakeafunny"...go ahead you can laugh)
I was looking for a way OTHER than getting a dehumidifier. Xmas shopping stands in my way from getting one.
Ive been told Kitty Litter (clay or silica gel based), hydrogen peroxide, damp-rid, among some other things i can't recall help reduce humidity and help prevent/fight mold.
i need to know whats good to use (and how much/when, etc) and whats to avoid.
I have lots of fans + an a/c unit im using during lights on to lower humidity. it causes my temp to dip to the mid/low 70s at times but i turn off the a/c and go back up to 78-80.
lights out is mid/low 60s at worst.
help. plz (if you need pics/etc visit my the link in my sig) or ask anything.
