ok so i went and got new lights help please

ok so i went to ace hardware picked up a few things hopefully i get better progress if ne1 has ne suggestions please ill take nething,,um im gonna a few pics up. ill put up the first 1 is a pic of the new lights and i put the old lights i was using next to the set up on the right so you can c what i was using be4,, they were the long 42inch fluor lights,, no they were not workin good at all so i went and bought 2 26w 6500k energy saving bulbs i hope these work better check the pics and please let me know what yall think thanks a bunch

ps maybe that was the reason the leaves were lookin down =(???

IMHO that is not enough light it even looks dark in your picture. I think you need at least 3 6500 and 3 2700. The more light you add the better. I think the GK books say min 6 lights a plant.

ok i have a bunch of the 2700k bulbs that r n the ceelin down here n the basement i can just use those i guess,, umm so i already have 2of the 26w 6500k,, so i sholud go out and by 1 more to make it 3?? and then put 3 of the 2700k ones up also??? umm c i just thought when the time comes for flowering thats when you use the 2700k ones

I'd make different hoods for them, Everyone told me the light from the side of the bulb is better than the top of the bulb.

You need an absolute minimum of 150 watts actual or the plant will get all stretched and the yiled will be minimal.

ok so the 2big bright lights wit no hood covers on them r 26w 6500k clfs and the other 2 r 2700k cfls i got those ones n the smaller lamps wit covers,,, umm tell me what yall think hopefully this works a lil better thanks thanks

add the fluoros too with the cfls..1 more of each wouldnt hurt it but for now its fine...you runnin 18/6 or 24/0 light cycle?

you will need hoods for all your bulbs, and dont think that 4 or 6 of those cfls will suffice for the whole grow (unless you LST that thing on the ground). what strain is that?

Lst is what is pictured above...tying down your plant so it spreads out instead of up...and yes add flouros because the is no such
thing as too much light.

ok cool sweet and when i tie some of the branches down not to tite huh?? and its not gonna fuck the plant up is it??

42inch fluor lights are fine for veg, but you must keep them within 2" of the plant. They're cool, so even if the plants grow into them they won't burn right away. CFL's must be a little further away, so I don't see much gain there.

LST is tying the plants down to keep them short.
