ok so i went and got new lights help please

im lookin for a thread on how to lst...havin a little trouble locating the one i read...just give me a couple minutes...no lst wont hurt it but hold on

yup thats how you LST. if you can keep doing that every few days and keep the plant traveling around the outside edge of the bucket, the plant will stay low so your lights can go over it. If the plant grows vertically you will need more lights, because if you have a bulb at the top then the bottom wont get enough light. If you keep the plant low and wide then you can spread light easier. good luck.

nice thats whats up i used the cloths hanger to set it up ya know and some1 on here is tellin me to get rid of it and that when you lst it has to be strategize i dunno im just gonna keep doin what im doin

how much did those lights cost you?

the 26w 6500k were only 7and some change at ace and the 2700k we have a bunch layin around the crib but i seen them to and they were like 4or5dollars for a set of 2,, but now that im learnin i need more of the 6500k while im vegging and use the 2700k when flowering i think lol

Basically what he was telling you is to learn from your grows. So what if you LST'd your first plant, so did I and it has given me 5 new tops. That are budding nicely thank you, lol. But learn from this grow so you know what to do the next time you grow a plant and lst it.

i myself am not doing LST per se, im more or less using the flexibility of the plant to my advantage, the stretchyness is actually sometimes a good thing if u ask me. i can manipulate the plant to curl on its side exposing the bottom sites and letting them catch up. the cool thing is after the lights go on i can go in there mist,water,nute etc whatever i gotta do and then rotate the plant and bend it down again to catch the sites from the other side alternating day in and day out and now i can do the same with the lower bud areas too to give the really low ones some good light. seems to be working for me, check my sig and check it out
