Ok to defoliate

Ok I’m staring to notice some yellowing on my bottom leaves and my plant has slowed down on growing. And also can I do a small defoliation? Also is my light to far or is it ok and overall how does she look? Planted august 13th growing in pro mix with ewc and some happy frog 7-4-5.

And also some of my stems are purple

Looking pretty good overall. You could definitely take some of the lower leaves and little branches off. All the lower "nodes" with little leaves sticking out-pinch them off, they will ultimately just be "sucker branches". Im talking just the stuff at the very bottom. I would leave everything else alone.
