I just pruned 2 of my babes b/c they were stretching too much. The plants just started to shoot pistols everywhere. Will this help stop my stretching? Will my yield be affected?

guess it depends on how much pruned you mean....there is a technique called lollipping...you can seaarch it....and it is designed to shape the final plant and involves significant incremental pruning....but there is always some risk of setting the plant back with pruning.....I have a totally unkemp bush...that I have been told should have been trimmed along the way.....but....I should be careful now (I am 4weeks into flower though)

when a plant is switched to flower, it usually stretches for 2-3 weeks. after this is over, you will see much less verticle growth and more of a filling out and thickening. basically you need to just wait this period out and not do too much with the plants.

topoing during flowering is a bad idea. it will reduce yield so avoid unless you have no other options. if you need to save a little room, you can tie branches down to lower them a bit. this is also a useful tool when trying to get the buds at the same height

Damn, I already pruned them. But I really didn't have much of a choice. I heard it helps stretching, the damn things are 4 feet tall growing under CFL's, I know. But I was told to wait till they pre-flower before inducing. Now Im fucked! I hope yur wrong PAST TIMES.
