Okay, no cloudy trichomes. 10+ weeks in flower

Aright so I’m not really a “new grower” been doing it as a hobby for about 4 years. However, this last grow I severely neglected the plants for awhile. I didn’t feed or even water but once every week or two. I know this affected the plants negatively but was on vacation and working overtime a lot lately. Anywho, these plants have been flowering for roughly 11 weeks. Strain is supposedly critical mass from ILGM. Grow conditions (4x4 tent with a 480 watt quantum board Led and 120 true watts blurple with a few cfls around growing in 3 gal pots. Temps roughly 79-83 with light on and 68-73 with it off. Medium FF happy frog. Okay, not to the point. I am not getting even milky trichs this grow and am wondering if it’s from neglect or just taking extra long. I have grown this strain before and get cloudy with previous harvests. ALL of the big fan leaves are dead, whether from drought or light burn/etc. I have always had a problem with this though where my big fan leaves tend to die off beginning of flower/late veg. Idk if it’s my water that is tap from the city, lights, or what. But anyways, most leaves are dead, buds still throwing white hairs and not color/cloudy on trichs. I’m wanting to buy an R/O filter for water to see if that helps in future grows with the leaves dying but I’m also cheap so, lol. Basically, I’m wanting to know since the plants are pretty well dead, will the trichs ripen or no? If you have any input on the water/ lights ordeal I would love feedback on that too.

My guess would be probably. The weeks of drought could be deducted from total weeks flowering hypothetically, that puts you at 7-8 weeks. You should know in the next couple of weeks and you should totally post a update of what happens.

Sometimes plants just give up the ghost when stressed out ... whether finished or not. You can see if she will drink and at “ least “ pay some attention to it this time. If she drinks regularly add a bit of bloom nutes to see if she responds.

Yea i mean, this has been going on like this for at least three weeks at this point. They have been watered quite regularly since I started again. I did just go ahead and feed one of the three and see if it makes a difference. I am starting to think this grow may be a wash though

Give it a week with some bloom nutes and maybe a small amount of nitrogen. Basically give it something to work on regaining function.

I'm sure the soil is spent if you have just left it.

Timely post. I was out of town for a month and my girlfriend didn’t take very good care of my girls. My plants should have been ready a week ago but also no clouds.

Plants in veg were also neglected but slowly coming back. These plants appear to have a ph issue but suspect it’s going to take them a while to recover from the stress.

I have been over the moon about the whole PH thing. People say "growing in soil doesn't matter" others say I need to PH. I have done both. Ph'ed religiously and it doesn't matter. I have friends that grow too and none of them have ever PH'ed soil and their plants look great.

So I had an auto when I began growing that I fucked up incredibly bad.

It took 16 weeks for it to gain amber trichomes. Should have been done in 11-12 (not the breeder timline that was 8-10)

Have hope

Phing in soil in the later parts of the plants life becomes important if you dont keep up with reactivating the microbes in the soil.

Microbes deliver the nutrients to your plant. Once they become inactive they can no longer do that.

Once that occurs you should Ph your cocktail to make sure its deliverable to your plant.

UPDATE: So I have had these outside for the past 5 days. Temps got down to the low 30's last night with a frost. Figured I would take some pics with the macro lens to see any trichomes. Looks like putting them out in the cold sped up the process a bit as now we have some milky and even some amber too. I would harvest tonight but I'm far too tired after watching the nephew all day so tomorrow it is.

Hell yeah dude, that’s pretty badass. yeah I harvested at mostly cloudy and some amber with about 30% clear on one lady, and the potency just isn’t there. Had to do it because my filter(6in ac infinity) crapped out and the fuzz lives next door. So I’d wait, but it’s probably already chopped.
