Okay to water plant before night cycle?

My bad, jumped on you a lil bit. But my only mold problems have ever come from the light getting through my canopy to the soil and making this gray fuzz on the edge of my pots, always gone away once the canopy blocks the soil out. So you can see how my experiences led me to believe mold grows on a photosynthesis basis, that and as stated the whole res comment (if mold did not react to like hydro reservoirs would not need to be opaque). While they can grow in the dark they do not love it, nor do they like intense ass light or uvc. And he prob has a fan exchanging air (I hope) so the argument is kind of moot since your post says they need it to have like no air circulation for cultures to develop, probably not likely during a 12 hour dark period...

I know what ur talking about with the gray fuzzy shit, i got it too. It can grow dark and light, i was just posting to back up my statement, that it grows during dark..

I actually left the funi on the soil, since im using MG soil, the fungi eats up the nutes in the soil helping reduce nute burn. :D

When I was in 6th grade my class did a science experiment about it.. on bread though, not soil... could cause differences..


And hydro res need to be opaque because the roots need darkness...

interesting... I always just played with the soil with my fingers whenever I saw it starting, never got near the stem that how I kinda figured light related. The shit we learn that stick with us as kids right lol.

I keep it in one section, if it starts spreading i spray the soil with some neem oil and it all dies off.

I dont know if it actually uses up any of the nutes, but it makes sense.. untill some one shows me other wise, ill leave it lol.

Meh, Water Whenever, Dont Water leaves during day time as the water will heat up and could dmg the leaves, but water roots whenever
