What makes it so fucked there? Did the state make so anyone can sell to the shops. Those are cut throat prices nobody makes it like that
It's super saturated here. $2500 a year fee to the State, no license caps, no canopy limits. If you want to grow 4 million plants, you can do it for $2500 a year. We have about 8,300 growers licensed in this State. It's fucked.

Doesn't look bunk but maybe picked a bit early an run thur a machine.
With prices plunging, growers are taking shortcuts to run a little leaner. When it was bringing $2800-$3000, alot of the bud out there looked like a centerfold of High Times. But when you can't hardly get $600 a lb, the quality is going to go down.

Shit no wonder back east nothing like that in the legal market very tight control here but it keeps the market price up Legal an gray market

It depends on the strain, there's exotic strains being sold for $200 an ounce in Oklahoma dispensaries. It's the midgrade and outdoor that nobody wants.
Life keeps going in circles.
Once again, I have a circle of close grower friends and we swap back and forth, just like in the 80s.
I thought legalization would change things, but greed is eternal

Even thats cheap on the east coast.
I asked a friend "what's a bag going for these days?" in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
He said "I can get you a nice bag for $135, or some mids for $100.
He meant a 1/4.
I said "Just curious", and got him higher then he'd been in 'years', supposedly.
I don't know how these people afford to smoke.

OK has a lot of empty pockets. People don't "want" cheap weed. They did the laws right here. This is how capitalism works. Everyone can play, the market determines the price, and the consumer has choices. They thing is, marijuana has had an artificially high value assigned to it. It is worth as much as collards or alfalfa. Seriously. Just a plant. Not as useful as wheat, corn,or cotton, in our current mindset. Only thing that made Mexico bricks cost $60/oz at street level, was the threat of jail.
Just grow enough to smoke what you want.
I prefer Mexico bricks to a lot of the prime produce in OK shops. It always worked. Most of this shit does nothing. Ive spent thousands across the state. Most of it is not psychoactive. I haven't been to a shop in years. Pay my fees, but shooting the sales tax in between the eyes, and avoiding the robbery with a smile.
Im better off growing my own. And Im not alone.

This makes the state money. Not the people. They get fees, income tax, and sales tax.
They are fine with putting you or your kids in jail to make money. Anyone want to go back?

That's $6.25 for a 1/4 oz. This is good bud too. No seeds, stems, rocks.... Hell, I can remember paying $25 a 1/4 oz for Mexican brick weed back in the day. I know the guy is trying to liquidate before the 1st of May, but damn!
I use to pay $30 an eighth for chronic when I was a kid. Then it gradually got more expensive. Some would charge as much as $60-$65 an eighth. Crazy shit.

I've never seen that.
I was talking about catalytic converters. Some tweakers are into cats though,.
