Thanks I have been swinging them out each morning at 5 to let them sit in a spot till 1pm where they get direct sun making a huge difference but only so much longer I can do that before they get bigger. So should I not be concerned by the spots on the leaves? Or the discolor on the edges?

After that start?? I would keep an eye on things and see how they go.

Got a couple more lights and reflectors. Remodeled the closet a bit. Grabbed some bigger pots on a hunch the bigger one was root bound and it was terribly, the little one as well, shitload of roots all out to the edges so I put both in these 2 3/4 gal. pots. They said 12" so before I replanted I took one and plugged the drain holes and filled with water so I see could what the 12" was in volume. Store I was in at the time had everything rated in inches and I went looking for 3 gallon pots sorta wished I got something closer to 5 gallon but in due time. Might just get some 5 gal pickle buckets and drill holes in the bottom for drainage. I had a old buddy that did a lot of growing years ago come in from out of town to pick up a custom guitar I built him and he helped me with a few things. We picked up some coco-peat and vermiculite and prepared the peat with hot water to expand and mixed it basically 1:1 with my FF Happy Frog with some vermiculite tossed in. He said I had crap for good drainage, compared to now he was right. He also had me buy some superthrive and had me use reduced ratio than they had on the bottle, about 60% of what the bottle said to use. Just to water after replant then just water with plain next 2 times see how it goes. Day later already leaves are bigger even more sprouts showing up all over. I am thinking now with better lights and better pots I might see a faster growth.

Will this little one ever catch up? I call it Barry White cus it is taken it's time to get to the lovin.

Little update
All things looking good both plants taking off My camera died so I didn't get pics of little one uploaded yet. Few of the big one and I think it just gave me some good news.

Looks like it might be a 30 year old female, would that be like the real MILF weed? :)

It has taken time but I think it has come a long ways from a 30 year old mystery bag seed I tried to kill a couple times.

Whispy little hairs I see!

Hey bud,

How many weeks old are they at the moment?

10 1/2 weeks since they popped thru the dirt. If you go back in this thread you can see I had some setbacks, in other words I tried to kill them a couple times lol.

The big one is right at 24" and the small one is 18" and catching up I am starting to think I need to jump up to 7 gallon pot. I already have some and got my scrog cages I made ready. Looking like I will have a 63" tent so I gotta keep it under control height-wise.

I cut 3 clones 28hours ago and they are looking healthy, keeping them humid, used the powder root hormone. Basically followed the directions lol
This larger one has a high chance of being from thai stick, since the bag I took it out of was in the box with my Santana Albums(long story) It does have some more skinny sativa like leaves but I know it is probably too early to tell. The small one has some fatter leaves and was from a bag of seeds I had in an old bike seat bag so it was most likely something grown outdoors on one of the islands in the Puget Sound. No signs on sex with the small one yet.

Hey Magnetoman,

I would make a habit of cutting a few more clones than you need.

Nothing wrong with having couple of extra "just in case" , also leaves you a replacement "mother"

They look pretty healthy considering you think you almost killed them. Lol

At least you have one kifirnes lady so far.

Good Luck

Well I think it is time to repot, currently both plants are in 2.75 gal pots big one is now 16" and little one is 15" I have these 4 gallon pots but my concern is the extra volume is more horizontal than vertical. I have quite a few pre flowers and should have my tent by next week. The tent is only 62" high so thinking I have to factor in lights on top I probably will have 52" of growing space from floor to safely from lights. But then there is the pot taking up vertical space so I am wondering am I on target with this for a final pot? I am training them out a bit and whatever pot I go with today I am going to set them up with some sort of scrog/trellace to continue on with trying to train more to the top. Are these pots a good choice? Or should I go taller? They will be finishing in a 36"x20"x62" tent.

Had to make a decision, I should have posted earlier to get some advice but I ended up with free time today I wasn't going to have so I had to get this done.

I went ahead and got 8.5 gallon pots. The width of the 2 will fit inside the tent I have coming later this next week. I think It will give me a decent amount of rooting room. When I pulled the plants out of the other pots they were rootbound like mad again.

I have them tied apart and down in a few places but I wanted to wait for my tent before I put some net horizontal over it.

I am thinking after I get them setup in tent I might switch to flower after a week?
There are lot of preflowers happening all over, the tiny white whispy hairs are getting longer but I am not sure if I should train them out some more once they are in the tent.
I am just concerned about exceeding my tent size.2016-06-25 16.13.10.jpg

I have been invaded by house flies, shoulda known there would be something in the FF Happy frog that would have attracted them.
Finally have some free time today to eradicate their asses. They are just big Jeff Golblume looking flies and from what I understand cant hurt the plants.
Got my new tent, some new bulbs, bulb splitters and some fly strips so time to get busy and I will post pics later
