Old leaves? Or nutrient burn

I like the dr earth but if you want straight P, check out down to earth seabird guano
Careful with the seabird guano though. It's kinda hot. When I use seabird anymore I mix it with some EWC and pumice and let it cook for a few days first.

Some top dressing mixes I've made have went over 100 degrees for a bit. Literally hot to the touch. I thought it was kinda crazy. Bat guano's don't seem to do that, but a lot of people frown upon using bat guano.

Fish bone meal is a good source of P, but does have some N and Ca in it. Rock phosphate is good too, but probably takes longer to break down, I'm not sure.

It definitely can burn if your not careful. I normally use a complete fert and normally would only use straight anything if needed at my spring amending but.......

That’s what I read, idk if it was bat guano or seabird. But I also remember seeing a post saying no to any fert over 5 is pretty high for sand actually stumbled on @Budzbuddha post talking about flower girl.
Here is a good tip …. ADD kelp / seaweed extract to your waterings … you will find it helps in bloom and adds beneficial micronutrients for that EWC in medium. Also probably no more than 10% EWC per container volume ( little goes long way ) , good stuff. There has been a few growers trying EWC only grows.
sounds appealing, is that something to replace the flower girl? Or in addition to

I haven't had bat guano's burn. And dry amendments are different than bottles. The high NPK levels really don't matter here since it breaks down slow. With bottles it's all there at once.

So after checking on the plant today the yellowed leaves have definitely gotten worse

but now the next “ early set “ of leaves are also starting to yellow as well

pot feels light, but not light enough till tomorrow. But as you can see in that last picture the lower growth is kind of drooping.
Also out of curiosity, what causes these reddish purple stems

If it's just those bottom leaves I wouldn't panic. And since you're trying to do an organic grow, you really don't want the soil to dry out. You want it to stay moist for the microbes. But I'd do water only for a bit. Those plants are really dark green.

Just making sure it’s not anything major while I noticed it.

I’m getting the flower girl tomorrow, but the plan for now is to give water only for the next week to try to get rid of some excess N. and I’m also gonna look around for that kelp / seaweed extract.

Just get some kelp meal if you want. Neptune's Harvest Fish and Seaweed is good to have on hand too, just in case you get behind on feeding.

IMO ….. just my opinion, your plant your rules .

But I would probably prune this bottom area anyways …. Keeps plant from wasting energy on leaf repair , increase air flow , etc.
Definitely check ph of your water and mixes … leaf reminds me of ph drift.

Overall plant still looks pretty good and beginning to stack .

Heck! I’ve been wanting to, I’ve just been paranoid of damaging yields in any way since it’s an autoflower lol
Probably a noob question but if I cleared the bottom, could that yellowing continue on any other low leaves

I’m gonna end up doing both, won’t hurt to have it on hand for future use. Any recommendation or opinion on GS plant foods liquid kelp?

or were you talking about Down to Earth kelp meal

If you are looking for easy organic feed ideas, Neem/kelp/alfalfa/soybean/malt barley and Coco meal goes a long way.

Neem meal has adequate NPK (4-1-2) and has great pest management benefits alongside promoting microbe health. The kelp meal has N and K (1-0-3), alongside shit tons of micro nutrients and stimulants. Alfalfa meal has balanced N/K with some P (2-1-2) alongside natural growth regulators and micronutrients. Soybean meal is a good source of N with some P and K (7-2-1) and the Coco meal is high in K.

I top dress kelp meal, alfalfa meal, Coco meal and a bit of guano phosphate for a flower boost. Just watch out, all that organic matter can bring gnats in if your not up to scratch with pm.

So I got the kelp extract today, should I add it to my waterings now? Or keep straight water ‘til I top dress next week with flowergirl

pH’d my water to 6.91
Here’s an update on how she looks today.

looks like the buds damn near doubled
