Omg male plant wasnt thinking

I was watering my plants and pulled out a male. I placed it on top of my cabinet.

I didn't even think they I pulled off the top of the male plant and squeezed it between my fingers =O

I didn't realize till I just sat down what I could have done.

How far does the pollen travel? I barely pinched much and it was all between my fingers.

as pollen weighs practically nothing, if you exhale into a cloud of pollen they could travel well over 20 feet

The pollen is a very distinctive yellow dust, if you don't see any and you know for certain the plant was a male then it hasn't matured yet and you can pull it. Send a pic if you can.

ok well your gonna wanna get that plant out of there pronto or it will make all your bud go to seed. And I am talking about massive amounts of seed, like you wouldn't believe.

hey dude - your the only person i could find online - quick question at what point do you start to weed out the males?

Which part of the plant did you squeeze? The actual sacks? Or the tip where you've broke the top of the plant off?

As soon as you find a definite male, you should remove it to avoid pollination.

I had pulled off the highest point of the plant. It had a bunch of balls... i think it was too early to have pollen...i didnt see any yellow pollen..

i even took the plant out the trash later and messed with it....
