low humidity/strain would be my guess. I had a 8 week strain running that finished before the spring humidity hit us and it was frosty as hell. right beside it i ran the same strain that was a different phenotype and it is still running at 13 weeks but about a week or 2 ago ive been fighting off 80% humidity with all the damn snow melting and the buds arnt nearly as frosty.

Low humidity is great for resin production but I as well had humidity problems with those buds during flower. I couldn't get it below 50% which sucks but not terrible. Sulfur also works great from what I've noticed for resin production. But genetics are 95% of resin production. Just my opinion, resin isn't everything (well it is kind of, but more frosty buds doesn't always mean more potent imo)

Nice pictures! Mine is BC Blueberry, the only one I've done indoors so far but I ordered Black Jack seeds from Seedsman UK. And you are right about low humidity and resin, this was my winter harvest and I have a wood stove in the house, humidity was down to 30% RH for most of the flowering period.
I use Canna coco coir and coco specific nutrients with excellent results every time.

Very nice man, great looking buds! blueberry is one of my favorite smokes, I love the smell and flavor so much. I've heard lots of great things about the black Jack, you're going to love that one! Yeah, rh is definitely a major factor for resin, usually it is very dry iin my area in the winter but this year for some reason, I think too much foliage in my grow tent from all the leaves, I couldn't get the rh below 50% running a dehumidifier all day, was such a battle. Now I need a humidifier though, the battle continues lol

Yea, a humidifier would be a good idea for me when I'm in veg or early bloom. Low humidity is not great for veging and transitioning to flower.

Thanks man, I can't take the credit for cultivating the gg4 buds, that was a buddys work, but I did like it enough to pick up the clones a couple days after I sampled those and I have some almost ready for flower. It's one of the frostier buds I've seen around in a while. The smell is great, the high is great, great bag appeal, it has all the good qualities in one plant, it even yields great. (I think it's another gsc fad, great buds with the hype, but will probably fade in time). But gg4 is taking up quite a bit of my grow space at the moment if that says anything ;)

I got gorilla glue#4 right now, first grow with it, gotta clone her out first got a lot of people that want clones so gonna pass them out, I hear she is a stretchy bitch how much did she stretch on you?

I'm doing the same man, I haven't flowered her yet but I have 9 in veg about 10 days from the flip. I got a gg4 thread going in the indoor growing section if ya wanna follow along and see how she goes. She's pretty lanky in veg so far, I'm going to treat her like an og, lots of topping super cropping lst and lollipop.
