OMMP Experience

I went down to the OMMP offices in Portland and got my paperwork stamped today and became the newest OMMP patient! I was curious about everybody's experience because the rest wasn't so easy going. I went to a Bend "clinic", which I won't name, and felt like the doctor didn't give a crap about anybody. He seemed like a sellout doctor writing bad prescriptions not a herbal alternative trying to help people to a very important medicine. I'm not going to die of cancer tomorrow but I feel bad for those who literally are and get such treatment. The funniest thing was he said "So it says here you have ADD." I was like, "Umm, no." I felt like an inconvenience the way he didn't seem interested in me or my health at all. It was like "Now you can smoke dope. Happy?"

So, I just asked our family doctor. He has been our doc for over 18 years now. I finally just told him that I had been using it for about 25 years for migraines, and it was the only thing that worked for me. He said, "Why didn't you ask sooner?" Then he went on to explain how it worked to get rid of migraines, and signed my paper.

Then I was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell cancer; been eating Simpson oil ever since. Glad I live in Oregon where extracts and growing are legal!

The reason the doc shuttles you thru is your pre approved at most of these clinics [you send them your medical papers] and they are just signing off. This state needs to allow some dispensaries to get decent medication to cancer patients and not forcing them to grow or find a grower.

This is why I like to get my paperwork signed by the OGF clinic. The Dr. is top notch and actually takes the job very seriously. He is very selective in who he signs for and I respect his dedication to his profession and to the medical community. Congrats on becoming an ommp patient btw DJ!
