Ona Gel in the Tent?

Ona gel smells good but strong. I feel like if I put that in the tent it's gonna make everything smell like that including the buds . Anyone have any input on that

Don't keep it in the same area as your plants. It will impart its flavor to your buds. I did this about a year ago with an autoflower. The buds had a distinct cool taste like "Polar Ice" chewing gum. The Ona Gel I used was Polar Crystal.

I've still got some buds from that harvest and they still have that subtle taste. It's not bad. But, it definitely imparted something to the plant.

you can throw that shit in a five gallon bucket (drill holes on the side) with some water and a fan inside the bucket (measure diameter of bucket) blowing and you have a great way to circulate it without having it next to your plants

I have the ona pro gel. Its so intense I just open up the lid for 30 minutes in my living room and the whole apartment smells like it without any airflow even. I've wondered the same question, but ya I figured it would soak into the bud too. I have used the gel by a fan and it drys out pretty quick so I think my version of the ona gel is better just for sitting around than air movement. I'm curious how fast the solid blocks shrink tho, might consider grabbing one of those next time.

Won't this dilute the smell? I have considered doing this cuz of how fast my pro gel drys out. Ive been told to buy the liquid to mix in the jar once in awhile to help prolong the gel obviously but thats just marketing bullshit annoyance.

ill put it where my exhaust blows out in my attic. The only problem im having is when the lights are out. Im trying to figure out a way to exhaust the air in the room while
lights are out and not reaching the tremps that are needed while lights are on

I use ONA . I punch a few holes in the lid and put lid back on jar. This way it works as a slow release and one jar will last two months. My house always smells like fresh linen . Not over powering .

Its filtration, great explanation

My process for my 2x2.5 grow tent is as follows. Passive air intake with a 4" exhaust fan for month 1, ducted out of tent. At 30 days I hook up a Cheapie very used HTG carbon filter to the 4" fan and duct out of tent. I begin flowering at this point, but don't need serious odor control. 4 weeks into flowering I switch to a new Phresh carbon filter ($80) for weeks 4-10. I also add a Ona bucket in the room outside my grow room for safe measure and residuals. I don't like the Ona even in the same room where its scent can be intaken into my grow area, let alone actually in my tent! I am very particular about anything that can change the taste and flavor.

i just keep mine in my room and usually the closet door is closed but no smell has actually gotten into the grow room
