ona

Hi, Im doing my very first grow, I have one plant growing in a closet. I am planning on using ona to help with odour. How far into veg does the plant start to smell? When do I need my ona by? My plant is five days into its veg cycle. Im ordering over the internet and cannot do so until the 24 of aug (im posting this on the tenth). I have two kids so keeping smell away is a huge issue for me. (the plant is in my bedroom which i keep locked btw). If the plant starts smelling before it fifth-sixth week in veg, does n e one have n e tips on how to keep smell down (ie airfreshner (fabreeze ones) do these work at all?) Sorry for being such a noob, but I didnt even consider the smell BEFORE flowering until today... so stupid! Ugh any tips or info would be muchly helpfull.

My greenhouse cheese did not smell that bad and I had 4 in a room together. When her buds start to get fat thats when she will start stinkin. Odor is not a issue for me,because of were I live. I wish I could help more.

You need to get your Ona block asap, I don't think you'll have any issues covering up the smell of one plant for a little while, especially since your so early on, if you can't order until the 24th that means the plant will be in veg for 19 days at that point? right? say another 5 days for the shipping, and your still under one month, just get it ASAP and you'll be good, might pickup a air freshener just to be safe till then... just as a precaution. no big smell until mid-late flower though.... no sweat, but still get it ASAP.

hey sorry to bother you but ive never talked to anyone whos grown cheese before, was it good bud? and if you dont mind answering (ive googled cheese for this answer and have found a few diff opinions so im wondering yours) how long is optimal to leave her in veg for?

Well... I dont have a very high opinion of greenhouse, but thats not to say yours wont be the shiz.As far as veg time it depends on how big you want her. I veged for 3 weeks And then started 12/12 they got to be about 3 1/2 ft tall not bushy. I got about 24 grams dry each plant under a 1000w hps in soil. Mine were small because I dont veg for long you could make yours a monster if you want too.Smoke was good but theres way better out there. I get my seeds from sannie seeds.com. He sells absolute top line strains for under 45 bucks u.s / here are some pics of my chocolate rain I got from him.

wow! that looks very nice I may buy online next time. I bought from greenhouse cause a head shop where i used to live got some in and i decided to give it a try lol. If im not impresed, I will try your seed place, im always open to suggestions

a common DIY lil air freshner type bucket goes like this:

1 bucket [some use a 5 gal, you can use a smaller one]
1 fan [preferably around the same diameter as the bucket, since it will sit on top]
1 or 2 gallons of Fabreeze
1 Drill

it's an odor bucket, with the fan on top blowing air down into the fabreeze. use the drill to make holes on the side of the bucket so the air rushes out.

it's not the best but it can help a little bit. you can then put ona gel and water in it and it works like a charm
