One 400w HPS and two 140 LED panels. Help!

Hello people.

I have a 400wHPS, and two 140w LED lights.

I have been pondering over the best way to do a grow an need some help.

Options are below but if you can come up with a better plan I will gladly listen....

Tent: 120cm by 120cm by 230cm (4 ft by 4ft by 7.5ft)

Option 1

LED on left, HPS in middle, LED on right

Option 2

HPS Bare vertical bulb in middle, and middle height of tent Caged off. (hope that makes sense)

Both LEDs at top of tent.

Also i don't like the idea of leaving the HPS on while i am away, so when i am away it will be LED only. Maybe 2 hours a day

Unless you keep small plants, i don't think you have the room for a central hot bulb and 4 plants in a 4x4

try this setup if it makes sense

hps on top in the middle, both leds on the sides but slanted and lower them a little.

how close do you keep your bulb from the plants in a normal configuration? gotta ke it that far on all sides

Sorry i didnt make make myself clear. I have not done of tried this yet so have no idea at all. I guess you are going to say its not a good idea to do the above, so What would your configuration be and why?

i thimk it would be cool to do. but if you need to keep plants 12" away in a 4x4 that leaves no room...

if heat is no issue run it all from above

HPS in middle leds hanging vertically on sides or / \ like the prev poster said. The LEDs can be hung like in the canopy on the sides of the tent vertically and it will maximize your light and wont burn the plants (depends on the led)

Think i am going to go with led and hps at top, with LED on either side. Grow diary will follow

400 w 2 95 watt T5's
Put everything on yo-yo's and leave room in your ducting for the light to move.

I have a 6" inline pulling air thru the hood blowing out of the top of my tent.
I used two 3' air conditioning zip ties to create slings to hang the fan above the light.

For ventilation I have a 6 inch high speed for exraction

And a 5 inch low speed for intake.

I am not using air cooled, so will be running intake either at bottom of tent, or even possibly getting a super nover air cooled reflector, splitting the air take so one hits the light (but doesn't extract it out of the tent) and the other will be at the bottom of the tent.
