One Gallon grow

Hello,

Like most I’ve been stalking the forums gaining info. This was my first grow and I was hoping for a perpetual harvest setup.

Half my seeds ended up being male messing up my plan. Heh.

This plant seems to be close to harvest? What do you guys think? This one has been in flower for about 6 weeks. Moved the lights further away because I noticed some drying and curled tips.

She needs at “ least “ 3 weeks. You have been overfeeding her ( dark shiny leaf ) ... too much nitrogen in flower.
Excessive nitro during all but guarantees “ smaller underdeveloped flowers “ and slow growth. It needs and wants a higher PK bloom with LESS NITRO.

PLUS ... you have been spraying some shit on her .... that is a big NONO during flower , it can affect pistils , add too much trapped moisture and mold. Plus you went heavy with it , with dried residue all over.

Remember ..... what shit you spray on your plants end up being consumed.

Thanks! Dark and shiny for sure. They all look like that. I’ve been feeding General Hydro grow nutrients still. I suppose I should have switched to just bloom and micro a couple weeks back? Should I go ahead and just start feeding bloom and micro now or just regular water the next couple?

i sprayed some bills perfect foliar on it. I definitely went too hard on it.

there has been a lot of learning and I’m just trying to keep growing, like mygirls.

I definitely appreciate the advice! I’ll post some update pics later.

Yeah, definitely start using just the Bloom and micro.

When did you spray Bill’s Perfect on it? That stuff is 6-11-5 and has fish hydrolysate in it. It's not to be sprayed on cannabis during flower. It's for ornamental flowers and other plants. If you sprayed that on those buds they might end up tasting nasty.

Ya she needs more time for sure, but it looks like he's got more problems to worry about than harvesting too early, lol. It looks like he's got a serious WPM problem, and now it's even worse that he sprayed the buds. I don't have any good advice to give him at this point. Maybe do a bud wash with some H2O2, but I've never tried it.

It's a learning process, and you've already learned something, lol. I might try the H2O2 wash when you do harvest.

Seems like the leaves are changing color again or am I crazy? Laid off the gro nutes as suggested. Should I keep giving bloom or do you think I should stick with water only for the next couple weeks?

This one seems to be close but as stated earlier, 4 more weeks. I’m thinking of one more bloom feeding and then two weeks of just water?

The buds are dense and feel nice and sticky. My only concern is the top cola leaves seem to be burning. I’ve raised my light a couple times hoping to slow down the spread.

first time grower so I’m of course Impatiet But I’m trying not to be.

Honestly this looks rough and I’m surprised you’ve semi successfully made it this far.

Edit you’re going to get like three whole marijuanas laden with some sort of powder residue dude. Is it even worth it? Try again and try harder. Less is often more.

Hah. Yeah I am too. I’m not offended and I doubt you’d care if I was but could you elaborate? Why are you surprised? Does that plant look bad? Any advice?

I had a friend with an outside grow and his top colas started to turn brown. This is an inside grow so I’m assuming the top is just from my lights being low?

Do they look close to you?

Let me try and help you instead of being mean, sorry dude. Let me go back on the OP. I assume this is an autoflower due to its very small size. Size not the issue necessarily if an auto, Ive had plenty of small autos. To start though you need more drainage in your soil aka a bag of perlite from Lowe’s. Mix a bag to like 60% soil. Your soil is too dense and your roots are essentially drowning I can tell by your leaf growth, too much water going on. Not because you’re over watering per se but your soil mix can’t filter out what it doesn’t need quick enough, so you’re absorbing a lot of excess (and you’re likely over feeding to begin with) nutrients know what I’m saying? It’s like if your intestines are blocked and can’t filter all that shit through. What’s gonna happen you’re gonna get overloaded and backed up.

also. Be honest here. This is very important and took me a few grows to realize. Are your pots sitting on the floor of your tent?

yes? or no?

if honestly yes (common rookie mistake) your plants are never draining and always soaking in that runoff that they don’t need.If your plant isn’t raised and inch off the floor, it needs to be. However you need to do it. A plate upside down. Shot glasses. Rocks. Whatever to get it up off that floor.

The pots definitely are sitting on the floor not elevated at all. I’ll be sure to correct that and better prepare on the next grow. I had a problem with overwatering in the beginning and now only once every 4-4 days.

These are all 12/12 from seed and I did two prunes during them. Completely defoliated during veg and once mid flower. That’s probably another thing I messed up I suppose. I was eager to try every cool thing I read and go for it for my first grow. I guess I can’t learn to big or go home doesn’t work.

For the last couple weeks you definitely have to drop the N and raise the K, but for the majority of flower you should have 20-10-20. Jacks hydro has something very similar on their feed chart. And their cannabis specific nutrient is 18-8-23 (Jacks Outdoor).

Dr. Bruce Bugbee says 20-10-20 as well.

like the “ Shadow of Death “ ... j/k ......... OR AM I ?

Will definitely do some grows and see what’s up ... looking at 15-5-20 tap . Looks like it supplements a higher Calmag mix. Something
that Megacrop needs some help with. Not sure what’s the difference “ actually “ in Bloom over Finish nute other than a little PK difference......
