One gallon pot...How much will it yield?

If you veg for 50 days where are the roots suppose to grow? That's my issue with a 1 gal pot.
 
Well I fucked up then cause

Oh, and it vegged for about 60 days.

Going on week 4 of flower, nothing dying or drooping, color is good, buds are growing and getting nice and full and the trichs are coming on strong. It's about 24" tall but that's staked down.

I've thought about re-potting it but it was an experiment anyways so wtf..

You think it's root-bound?
 
People get all bound up about a plant getting root-bound, happens all the time to me........just make sure they dont dry out and get flushed once every 10-14 days and you'll be fine. Ive grown Violator Kush in a 1 gallon pot and get about 2-2.5 oz per plant.

Hi I want to put my thoughs into this ok for micro growing in a 1 gallon pot u are going to need a smart pot so you can stop root bound.
For how much you can get per plant depends on the genetic of the plant. Lets say you have a sativa it takes longer and its tipicly a bigger plant by putting it in a smaller pot you stop it from growing to its full potential its called banzai.
With that in mind lets say you grow a indica shorter plant less weeks to grow. You would get more out of the sativa dominant plant just because it has more time to grow and geneticly its a bigger plant. The only bad thing about small pots is that you do run into hp problem, drying out faster, and smaller plants. But the good news is that it's stealthy more plants perfoot in a small room faster turn over. But you could also do this with autoflower makes ur setup alot easyer.

I don’t think I want to try to keep a plant in a 1 gallon pot for months before flowering.

But here is a flower grown straight from 12/12 in a 1 gal. They are actually more like 3/4 gallon in capacity. We should call them #1 nursery pots.

It is still hang drying. Will have weight in a few days. I am guessing 1.5 -2 oz.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I found this because I was looking for info on if I can use 1 gallon pots... that pic is inspiring, wow. Can you please elaborate on how you got here a bit. You said started from 12/12, was it a cutting, or from seed? Did you ever do anything to the roots? Did you feed it with every watering? Really awesome and looks to be the best use of a small space for me possibly

Dont expect a response from Michigan grower, he's hasn't been on this site in a year.
 
you could get root bound. i am doing a sea of green experiment i have 20 2 week old seedlings in 1 gallon pots but im flipping to flower now or week 3. if i waited until day 50 to flip to flower it would be fine at first but after the flip the plant will double to triple in size and by the end of flower, i dont think 1 gal would give your roots the room they would want to expand and you would start getting weird straggly growth at the tops and slow yellow death from the bottom toward the end from being root bound

i would either transplant to a 2 gallon when theyre 1 month old, ORR if they must stay in 1 gallons i would flip to flower at 30 days instead of 50. you will still get a 20 or so grams a plant like that, but so many new varibles go into that, how much light, what youre feeding them, etc etc etc

im not a master grower though and dont claim to be, i just have my experience to base my opinions from
