one huge plant

I was thinking about building a 5'x5'x7'-8' cab and a airoponic set up out of a 33 gallon trash can, 6-8 42 watt cfl's up top and 2-4 2' or 4' t5's on each side.
Has any one out there tryd this aproach to growing, if so what are some good strains or could i just pick a outdoor strain?

if you want big plant go with something a little more powerful than some cfl's and t5's. One 1000 watt hps will only give you about a pound of bud.

grow outside if you want poundage.

i'm thinkin 1000w hps on top and T5s around the sides. then you'll get poundage but prolly isn't worth it compared to other growing methods with that much lighting.

there is a grow in the grow journals here with 2 plants and 3 600 watt lights they vegged for 6 weeks and flowered for 9 and harvested 4.5 pounds from the 2 plants. that works out to be 1.13 grams per watt which is pretty damn good in my opinion from 2 plants.

but for sure toss the cfl idea out the window, you need hardcore wattage to pack in the monsters
