One Leaf Clone?

can I clone with just one leaf and stem? or should i have two stems and leaves with an intersection? also out of 4 plants, one has to be female, right? lol with my luck they are all gay males! Also, with cloning u have to keep them soaking wet in the peat for a week right? Before they start a lil rooty? ty!

You can clone with a half of a leaf. As long as you got some leaf on there, it will clone.

Instead of using peat, you should try rockwool or something like Rapid Rooter plugs. They both work very well.

you can make the cutting as big or small as you like, 2 leafs would be preferable i guess but makes no differance.
If the plant your taking the cutting from is male all the clones will be male & yes soak your medium well but squeeze abit out once the clones in, make sure to spray your leafs also.

If your using rockwool cubes, then do not squeeze them after the clone is in. Rockwool is made to hold a good amount of oxygen. By squeezing the cube, you smash those air pockets and its turns it into a wet sponge. As long as the cubes arent sitting in a pool of water... then your going to be fine.
