there is no reason to believe it should be female.
As for size, i think it's good for beginners to grow small plants. If you fuck up, you only fuck up a small plant and have not wasted all that time on a monster. However i would still give this one a bit more time. It is not sexually mature and starting flowering now would not be efficient.

Ok thanks much appreciated

It seems small because it started in a large pot, takes longer to fill the root zone so you have slower upward growth, it will stretch quite a bit once flower schedule comes, not sure of sex yet but it will show soon in flower(male seeds come from female flowers also) leave at least enough room for it to grow to twice it's height without being too close to your lights highest point and you should be good, happy growing

ignore the 'equivalent to 75 watts'. Plants can't read. that is a low wattage CFL (18 watts). You will need bigger/more/both

Ah that explains it see you want a 105w actually cfl then that fucker will grow faster

I`ve taken a plant much smaller than that and put it in a 60L sack, vs one I put in a 15L sack

one week later under 600w hid and 300w (150 consumption) led

the one in the bigger pot was bigger

2 weeks later one in the bigger pot was bigger

bigger pot more light bigger plant faster

only down side is putting a small plant in a 60L pot will not veg up as fast as putting 10 small plants into 10 x 6L pots so for vegging smaller pots means more plants even if they grow a bit slower

just after say 4 to 8 weeks of veg no matter the size of the pot you want to flip to flower by then or you`ll have to pot it up into a bigger pot or be watering eveyday by the end of flowering.

Have no ideas was goin by the seat of my pants .. I'm tryin to cut ou purchasing and move to growing personals .. I was going to use some lights I found in garage they are
I`d add them now in hope of more veg

Your going to want 100w of cfl min to flower or you won`t get much at all not that I`ve done much cfl only growing used them for germination and veg, and used 105w or bigger ones as side lights when running leds

but yeah for cfl you want 50w to 300w per plant if just doing one plant then I`d go with atleast 100w of cfl or you won`t get much and you won`t learn much either cos there won`t be much to look at, lol

Or get some autos and like 100w of cfl`s and run them 24/0 non stop light sometimes that can yield more and faster but with autos you get far less control over when they flower up

Not much on it to clone and you don`t know its female

I`d add the other lights and in 2 weeks it should be big enough that you can take 2 to 8 cuttings off of it

zambeza seeds do a 10 pack of (fems) XL Power plant or power kush and 1 to 3 more strains for £20 a pack, if you shop around you can get them for £18 or less and sometimes you get some free seeds too

Cheapest good seeds I ever got was C99 from female seeds we paid just under .50 euro cents per seed and they came in 10 packs 80 to 99% germination rate me and my mate have run a few 100 and not had one male off them

but I mix it up like to have new strains all the time for me to vape so I`m always trying new strains

You can have the best set up but without good genetics you won`t yield anything worthwhile, bag seeds can come good sometimes and you don`t have to go spending £10 to £30 a seed to get something good

but still expect to pay £1 to £5 per fem`d seed from a good breeder/seedbank

anything over £3 starts seeming a bit greedy to me too but I`ve paid over £10 for a seed before and yeah they grew good stuff

but I`ve paid out for a 10 pack to watch hot weather kill them well hot weather and a lazy/stupid "water boy" lol

These are 14 watts. You really want to go bigger than that. relatively large CFLs are available that use normal household fittings (105 or 85 watts for example). These are actual watts. The equivalent wattage that they advertise would be something like 4 - 500 watts. But you should entirely ignore equivalent wattage. It means nothing to the plant.

Best to use no less then a 23w cfl, their the equivalent of a 100w incandescent. Also if your using the foil for a reflector it shouldnt be crinkled like that. It has poor reflectivity to begin with,35% if i rememeber an that is when its flat. With the cfls you also want to keep them as close as possible to the top of your plants. Use the backside of ur hand hold it between your plant tops and the light. If its too hot for ur hand then raise them. Up
