This plant is grown under 16/8 metal halide lamp 250 watt. I was planning to veg it more but I noticed the white hairs. I need advice immediatly. Can I keep vegging it? should I put the plant into 12/12 light cycle. It was a random seed so I dont know the strain aswell but Im guessing its sativa dom. Please comment on the strain aswell.WP_20140314_00_55_07_Pro.jpgWP_20140314_00_56_12_Pro.jpgWP_20140314_00_56_12_Pro.jpg

You can veg as long as you want, as long as you are not growing autoflowers.

The flip (12/12 lighting schedule) comes when you are ready to flower your girl out. When you do flip, expect her to stretch anywhere from 12- 36 inches depending on the strain.

Some strains show realy distinctive preflowers while still in veg when they reach maturity, all it means is the plant is ready to flower but you can still veg it as long as you want

I didnt take any clones. This my first grow and Im a newbie. I researched alot. so basicly my plant is one month old from seed to this point. How long do you think should I veg it ? The strain looks like a sativa indica mix but it was a random seed coming out of a bud so I dont know.

Me personally i veg to 12". But its all about your space. Just remember sativas stretch tremendously in flower. Mine stretched 4x its veg height!! So at a 12" veg in flower its now 4'!!! So remember that, also indicas are more on the tune of 2x stretch. Just as a guide. All plants are different. ESPECIALLY bagseed.

Looks like a really healthy plant!!!

What strain is that (or is it bag seed)? (edit nvmd, see it was bag seed)

I'd give it another 3-5 weeks provided you have some vertical space left for her to go.

Please check the new pics I uploaded and comment me on what to do. The hairs are more clear on this pic. Plant is now on 16/8 light cycle. Is there any chance of plant turning mail. or can I keep vegging it?

I see what you mean, but wonder if its not just a wispy looking stipule. No reason not to veg still, though, if that's what you want to do (for that matter, no reason not to flower if you want to, either). Since you don't know what it is, it could be an auto, also, in which case you don't get much say in when it flowers!

As for strain, best guess I could venture is to say that it's a hybrid.

Cheers!

Shes not flowering just showing sex.Its up to you whether you want to keep vegging or flower.Remember they stretch in flower and can continue some vertical growth so you should take that i.to consideration especially as lst shouldnt be done too much on a flowering plant.Good luck
