Dark periods of 13 hours or less will usually trigger flowering. Strain dependent. Root bound plants set flowers earlier ime.
Yes, due to my noob error most of my plants must be root bound,, poor things and as Fresno said, most are either flowering or are seriously thinking about it. One has decided that re-vegging is the response to being root bound then liberated. It is turning into a big 'un. ;-)

My plants grow like crazy when "Root bound" its kinda like hydro when you are having to water 2 times a day. As long as the plants have food and water when they need it they will grow like nobodies business.

I keep an eye on them in case they need an intervention of some water. I'll be smarter next year. ;-)

If you could go in bigger pots I would. I'm gonna do 9 or 10 late starts in the ground this season(if I don't hit roots when digging in my green house). 70:30 native clay soil to compost, 2×2×2 holes amended with organic goodies. my clay soil has become surprisingly rich over the years. I think I might line the holes with plastic sheeting so I dont have to water so often. Also will help keep the bugs from the surrounding tree roots from eating my cannabis roots. I have hella trees in my yard.

You know what? I've dug 3 holes at my place and looking back, it can't have been that difficult because there are 3 thriving rose bushes in those holes with gopher cages I built. I'm going to see if I can dig 2x2x2 and if I can I'll gopher cage the hole and drop AK 47 in it. FF....thank you for the inspiration and the perspiration, too. ;-) :-)

I just got done digging two 2x2x2 holes. Boy was that a PITA. I manged to tear out all roots from the holes. Haven't hit any thick roots yet. My spade slices right through the ones i did hit, with enough force. I am definitely exhanging the soil in this particular garden. Its yucky to say the least.

@Redvenom03 your plant looks hungry for some nitrogen based nutes. Start at 1/4 strength and bump it up 1/4 each week as needed until you hit full strength.

Thanks for your reply FresnoFarmer, picked up some general hydroponics FloraNova grow 7-4-10.

Also picked up some happy frog and transplanted it. Fed it yesterday afternoon with nutes.1/2 tblsp. Mixed into one gal jug.
