One month

Ok so I have a one month (a month on the 8th) old feminized LA Woman strain. It growing quite slow height wise (aprox. 4"), it has 4 or 5 nodes including the newest (second set) of 5 finger true leaves. I'll try to get pics up soon.......

post some pics dude, and then we can let you know how she looks and doing so far.

So yeah one month and there's a pencil for perspective, that's a 13w B/R (3/1) LED, two 150w cfls.

Ok, so I'm gona use this little thread as a grow journal type thing..... I'm on a month and week and today I just started LST, why ditch the LEDs? I do believe that LA Woman is a Indica dominant plant, but I don't know if the height is on par with the strain...... Would that be why one would ditch the LEDs? It's a single plant and I do know the mortality rate is very high in marijuana plants, especially if you're a new indoor grower and if one is experimenting with nute levels and such, like I am.I have grown outdoors and have been successful, but a move made it not possible to grow out doors due to weather..... I'm about to post some new pics here in a sec, hopefully higher quality than my laptop cam. My experimenting with nutes has been me blending, first time, an ounce of espresso grounds(N) with a 1/4 of a banana(P) and a little bit of a Cranberry for (K), 2nd time ramped up the N to 2 O's of espresso grounds and kept the P and K constant. I water twice a week, either having a 2 or 3 day space between waterings and I nute every other watering. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Looks pretty tiny for a month, I'm new to this myself and have done everything imaginable to my plants and have yet to kill one by accident.

Yeah, I thought that it was a little under par, compared to the other journals at one month. It is an Incica dominant strain and I knew it was going to be short, but yeah it's most likely the low budget lights. I am unable to add anymore lights because the electric bill has already risen by like $100, no bueno. I am thinking about changing the bulbs for flowering, any advice? I re-potted today into a large adobe pot, it's a little shocked, but looking alright. It's been a month and a week or so, it's 5", another month of veg and I'll flower around 10". Sounds like a plan.....??

I have a auto blue hym disel growing right now and its already flowering at about half a foot completely condensed using 2 cfls and 1 large cfl 35$ menards. Cant post pics but leds kinda suck.

How much do you pay per kWh where you live?! Most places, you could be growing under a 1000w HPS and then some for $100/month...

What spectrum are your current CFLs (to answer your switching bulbs for flowering)?

Yeah, we get charged per kWh over here..... The CFLs package was thrown away a while ago, but I got them because it said "6500k Daylight". I will admit in my ignorance the bulbs were like 7" away from the plant at first, but I have done some geri-rigging and they are 3" away. It's been on a 18/6 light cycle and such.

That seems really high, I run 250W of CFL's and some fans and my bill on all that is like $8 a month.

So since I've changed the light's positions I've seen more rapid growth, about a cm a day. Yeah the electric bill was a little over exaggerated when I said $100, it's more like $70, but still.....that's no bueno. I've started LST and it's looking fun....... I anchored at the 1st node and started bending at the 6th, the 1st set of 7 finger leaves came through the other day and are looking sexy. Oh yeah I re-potted like on the 17th and started LST 2 days later. I used like a huge pot, I don't know how many gallons it is, but it's bigger than a 5 gallon bucket.
